"We could've done this at my place, you know," Hyunwoo commented through a mouthful of rice.
"We could've," Kihyun agreed, swallowing his bite of duck. "But it's been so long since I've actually been here that I forget what the place looks like."
It was a joke, of course, but it sparked something inside of Hyunwoo.
"You just reminded me of something," he stated, swallowing his own mouthful before setting his plate to the side for a moment so he could pick Minhyuk up from the floor and sit him on his lap.
"Daddy, I was watching that!" The boy pouted, and Hyunwoo kissed his cheek.
"What are you doing?" Kihyun laughed with a raised brow. He would never truly understand Hyunwoo.
"How would you feel about moving in with us?" He asked, and Kihyun was taken aback.
He blinked once. Twice. Three times before he finally processed the question, the tips of his ears turning red from embarrassment.
"Don't you think it's a bit sudden?" He asked.
"No!" Minhyuk exclaimed before Hyunwoo could even open his mouth.
"Come on, don't be rude, Min," he scolded softly. "I just figured since you rarely ever come here anymore, and Minhyuk absolutely loves having you around. Whenever you're not there, he always asks where you are and when you'll be around."
Kihyun looked down at the small boy in Hyunwoo's lap, who was giving him the biggest case of puppy dog eyes he had seen in all his life.
"I'll think about it," the pink-haired male replied. "I promise."
"Pinky promise?" Minhyuk asked, holding up his little finger to Kihyun.
"Pinky promise," the latter confirmed, locking his little finger with Minhyuk's.

Can you come over later? I need to talk to you about somethingTo: Hyunwoo
Of course :)Kihyun was preoccupied with his phone long enough for him not to hear a word of what Hoseok had just said, and found himself insanely confused when Jooheon began to question the ravenette.
"What are you two even arguing about?" He asked, not surprised when both men next to him ignored him in favour of bickering with one another.
"Kihyunie..." A small voice spoke up from behind the pink-haired male, and Hoseok and Jooheon both stopped arguing as Kihyun turned around in his seat to see Minhyuk standing there looking like he was about to cry.
"Hey, honey," Kihyun greeted softly. "What's wrong, Min?"
Kihyun had expected Minhyuk to maybe ask to speak to him, maybe even not reply at all. What he wasn't expecting was for the boy to burst into tears right there in the middle of the staff room.
The moment he saw the dam erupt, Kihyun was up and out of his seat, bending over to pick Minhyuk up.
"I'll be back," he reassured his two friends, who looked just as concerned as Kihyun was as he left the room, Minhyuk in his arms.
He figured the best place to take Minhyuk would be the quiet room in his classroom, but only if it were free. Luckily, it was, and Kihyun sat himself down in the only adult-sized chair in the room with Minhyuk sitting on his lap.
"What's going on, Minnie?" He asked gently, reaching over to grab a tissue from the box next to him and holding it up to Minhyuk's face so he could wipe his tears away.
"Daddy was crying last night," the boy sniffled. "I went to go ask him if he would play with me a-and he was in his room crying. Daddy never cries."
By the end of what he was saying, Minhyuk was crying again, and Kihyun felt his heart ache with the urge to just protect this boy. Minhyuk crying was always something Kihyun never wanted to see, but this time he supposed it was inevitable.
"Daddy texted me a few minutes ago, Minhyuk," he remembered, rubbing Minhyuk's back in circles. "I'll be coming over later, ok? I'll sort everything out."
