I wander around a strange land, glowing as bright as a star in the cosmos with floating islands everywhere in the colorful skyline. I know not of how I got to this place but I do not question one bit of it, all I can do is gaze at it's strange beauty.

As I study the odd atmosphere of this realm, I come to notice that some places are darker than the light. Both of which seemed to be fighting each other for ultimate territory.

Upon this discovery, I began to wonder what would happen if the darkness took over entirely. I think of many things, from the crumble of the realm to monsters roaming its surfaces. Frankly I don't want to find out all I want to do is stop it so I'll never have to discover the evil the shadows hide.

I try to think more positively and ironically when I do the light seems to resist more and more. I don't know why it does this but I continue thinking of the positives of just about everything. The new house, a new town, new school, new friends, just all of it.

A smile brakes across my face and as it does flowers start to bloom and the rocky surface slowly turns into soft green grass, the softest my bare paws have ever stepped across. I feel a sense of safety and harmony in this world and I grow the desire to live here forever.

I breathe the cool fresh air and look up to see trees growing so high that the branches brush the sky. And in the branches live birds of all colors and butterflies flying together in the air.

This is the most beautiful sight my eye has ever set gaze to and I spin in circles in the warmth of the light. I laugh and run and it is the first time I have truly felt happy. I let myself fall into the soft grass and it is cozier than any bed that could ever be purchase in the market.

I turn to my right and see a person, but not any person you would see anywhere else. It seemed they were made of the same light as the star and I couldn't make out a face. All I could see were the silhouette of their body and eyes. They were and bulky and they had walked to me and held out their paw. I sit up and gaze towards them and slowly reach my paw out to hold theirs.

As soon as our hands have grasp on each other, I open my eyes and I am once again in the back seat but we are no longer moving and I am alone. I look around and I see what I assume to be my new house since my dad is loading our boxes into the front door. I release a sigh from my lungs and step out from the car and just tell myself, "let the nightmare begin.."

(That's all I have for today, sorry it took a bit to make. I have been at a bit of a stall on how this story should go. I hope you enjoy, please leave a star, comment, and follow my profile!)
