The house is finally all set up and that makes me a little happy since my room is arranged how I want it to be. But I'm horrified for my first day of school. All I can do is hold my bag tightly to my chest while I'm cowering in the backseat of the car while my mom drives.

She attempts to make small conversations with me but I say nothing at all. She can tell I was upset and she tried to do the thing she is usually good at but apparently not today because she had the ingenious idea to let the others get to know me. So when we arrived at the school she entered in with me and did the unthinkable.

I would feel a little better if my mom hadn't gone to the school pep rally to introduce me to the other students opposed to just dropping me off. She even told everyone my old school and town. Upon hearing this, each and everyone of them got the same face you would make when you find a low level player in an online game, because they knew exactly where it was and how the population is primarily gay. This is when I knew I was dead.

I'd never seen so many wolves and bears drooling over fresh meat before. They all seemed to want to throw rotten eggs at me right where I stood but they didn't although I'm sure it's coming.

In a crowd of jocks sitting in the bleachers, whom I could tell were plotting on what prank they should pull on me, there sat a wolf with dark grey and black fur who hadn't been joining in on all of the plans to head hunt me. He didn't seemed interested in any of it, in fact he seemed more interested in hearing more about me. I just felt that the reasoning was so that he could think of an even better prank to pull but I had my wonders.

I peek to him a couple times as he continued to chew on a toothpick. I looked at his letterman jacket and on the front he had a large C on his chest. I'm assuming that means he is the captain of the football team which isn't good for me at all, because that means he is the big dog that runs the whole school single handily.

I could never believe that one person could have an entire school in the palm of their paw. It must be one of those things in school that has to happen.

When the rally finally ended we went to our classes and the whole time I sat in my seat, I could feel the icy stares of those around me. A few spitballs hit the back of my neck and head and there was always a constant chuckle some where in the room, but I just ignore it all and try to get them to think I don't care.

The bell finally rings at the end of the day and the whole time it was all the same. Just people trying to get under my skin. As I walk outside to start my walk home it starts to rain a little, but I don't mind much, I love the rain. The cold drops fall into my fur and I walk forward.

A pair of paws grab the back of my shirt and I am launched forward, causing me to run face first into the flagpole. They grab me again and turn me around and I am faced to see the demons of my mind. Of coarse, it's some of the jocks from the pep rally. Of coarse as I thought, they were here for blood. How could my first day get any worse...
