"Um...." Peas says. One of Arachne's legs suddenly stabs through the side of the hull. I scream as the boat lurches. ABS roars with anger but is thrown overboard. This is just the distraction I need.
"Transform me!!" I scream. Suddenly a drown murky light floods the cave. My hand shoot above my head and gloves appear. I lower my hands out to the side and spin pulling them in. They meet at in the middle of my chest and I spread out. As they spread out a dainty and my top becomes covered in sparkles and Gems. As my hands flow out gloves appear which also glimmer and shimmer everywhere. I crouch down and my lovely gloved hands touch the floor. As I stand my bottoms become gem covered and sparkly. I then strike the perfect pose and spin.
"Why am I here?" Peas says suddenly covered in knightly armor. An angelic sword appears hanging at her side. I frown.
"Why is a woman like you wield a sword? Leave that to the men." I say with honesty. Peas looks at me with a dead look in her eyes.
"Why the fuck are you a magic girl?" Peas retorted. She pulls the sword out and gets into a fighting stance. Arachne turns towards us with a slightly confused expression on her face.
"Beronica why are you doing this?" She seems genuinely hurt and confused. I raise my hand up and aim it at her chest.
"Because you are a horrid monster who needs to go into the pits of hell!" I screech and release a fireball from my hand. She lets out a cry of emotional and bodily pain.
Krampus flinches from behind the door.
"That's a lot of damage." He says. Arachne leaps off the side of the cave wall and towers over the boat. She lets out an inhuman screech and her leg stabs clean through the boat. Peas swings her sword at Arachne's legs and makes a large gash. Arachne's other legs push Peas away. Arachne climbs off the boat as large octopus tentacles reach from the water and start to wrap themselves around the boat. I cast Fireball again and light the tentacle ablaze. It thrashes around for a minute before disappearing below the waves and shooting up again. Peas has turned her attention to stab the tentacles wrapping around the boat. SBF laughs.
"I didn't know you were into this stuff!" SBF laughs at Arachne. A sudden blast of wind echoes through the cave and Krampus steps forward and points at Arachne. A sudden beam of light floods from his hands and Arachne shrieks in terror. As she falls into the water below. A tentacle puts her back on the wall and the walls are suddenly covered in black moving dots.
"SPIDERS!!" I cry and cover my head. Krampus pulls his hand up to his mouth and moves his lips. Peas keeps slashing at the tentacles but for everyone she takes down another seems two more come up. Garbage Boi just sits there and stares.
Krampus lets out a shriek of words that sound quite odd then points his finger at the wall. Fire erupts from his hand and engulfs the moving wall of spiders. They start to burn and the fire starts to spread unnaturally quick. Soon only a couple of flaming spiders are left on the wall. Arachne shrieks with anger and the tentacles tighten around the boat. I can hear the boat start to crack apart.
Peas looks around frantically and then spots ahead of an octopus sticking out of the water. She aims her sword towards it and hurls with great strength over the side of the boat. My ABS is climbing over the edge and the hilt of the sword slams into his face and both him and the sword fall pathetically into the water. Peas stomps angry over to the side of the boat and looks down into the water.
Before she can say anything she is whacked into the water by Arachne and she comes over to me and picks me up. She accends up the wall with me in her grasp. He arms are covered in this strange familiar hair.
"Why are you doing this?" Arachne cries, "I thought we were supposed to do everything together. You said yourself that you would always have my back." I would scream in her face that I have no idea what she is talking about but the genuine pain in her voice makes me stop.
"I've never met such a hideous creature as you," I say. Arachne beings to weep.
"I ....... I ....... My ........" She bubblers while holding me. She looks into my eye and then becomes stiff. Her grip around me loosens and I plummet down towards the rock below. I can see my whole life flash before my eyes. Meeting ABS, Peas screaming at me to let her go, the coffee shop.
I frown what did happen before I met ABS? I mean I know something happened. I don't remember it though. Wait, I do. Arachne? Why are you kneeling in front of me?
As the first jagged rock comes in an arms reach something pulls me away from the rocks and back on the ship. I look up to see my hero ABS.
"You saved me!!" I hug him. I then look up at Arachne to say how the power of true love all always prevails but looking up I see Peas taking her sword out of Arachne. Arachne shivers and then looks down at me. Tears in her eyes Arachne then falls into the water. suddenly everything attacking the boat retreats and flees with Arachne deeper into a cave tunnel. The boat takes a turn down a different path like it has already been here before.
ABS turns around to take on the evil Krampus be he is already gone.
"Must have fleed with that other villain," he says. Peas nods and looks at the tarp that she threw over something that stands like a statue.
We go down the rest of the cave in silence and Peas walks with the staute down into the ship. I am lost deep in though about Arachne and her last words.
