You, Hide and Kaneki arrived at school.
"We have math first today..." Hide said and sighed deeply.
"(Y/n), Hide really sucks at math." Kaneki said and laughed a little bit.
------LunchBreak-------
You sat by a table in the school cafeteria eating your own lunch you made at home. You suddenly heard a voice behind you.
"Hey (Y/n). Is it okay if me and Hide sit with you?" It was Kaneki who talked and Hide stood beside him smiling.
You turned around and looked at them smiling. "Sure."
Hide and Kaneki sat down by your table and started eating their lunches. No one said a word for a while, because all three of you were focused on eating your food.
After some minutes Hide suddenly said "Kaneki has a secret crush." He laughed.
Kaneki gasped and said "That's not true!" He kept eating his lunch and looked down.
"Hey (Y/n), want to know who it is?" Hide smiled and pat kaneki's head.
"Um... Alright." You said unsurely.
Hide laughed and pointed at a purple haired girl sitting alone by a table reading a book. "Her. Her name is Rize."
You felt a weird feeling in your chest when you heard her name. "Am i jealous?... But, he only likes her... They are not together so i still have a chance with Kaneki..."
"This is not true... I don't like her..." He layed his head on the table and groaned.
"It's alright. (Y/n) is our friend, she won't tell anyone, right?" He looked at you and smiled.
"Of course I won't." You smiled and finished eating your lunch.
---------After school----------
You, Kaneki and Hide were standing outside the school entrance.
"I'll see you guys later." Hide waved and ran off.
"Hey Kaneki? Do you have any plans today?" You blushed a little bit.
"Actually... I do... Well, me and Rize are going on a date today." He looked down and smiled.
After hearing this sentence, you felt like you lost Kaneki forever. You couldn't do anything anymore. It was too late to tell him that you like him.
"Oh. I hope you will have fun Kaneki." You forced a smile. "I need to go home now... i have homework to do." That was a lie, you were done with your homework the other day. You just wanted to go home as fast as you could.
"Alright. Bye (Y/n)!" He smiled brightly and walked off.
After coming home, you took off your shoes and ran to your room. "Why does it have to be like this..." You threw your bag in the corner of your room and changed into your normal clothes.
"Damn it!" You shouted and threw yourself at the bed facing down.
