I started hesitating. What if he would reject me? If he rejected me, then would we still be friends like we used to...? No. It wasn't time to think about things like this. I had to do it no matter what.
"Well... The thing is..." I felt my cheeks turning even more red than they were when I came here.
Kaneki waited patiently for what I had to say.
"I... really like you, Kaneki! P-Please go out with me!"
I did it. I told Kaneki what I wanted to tell him the most.
Kaneki looked like he had no idea what to say. He was simply shocked.

He nodded smiling. "Do you have any place in mind for our date?"

"Yeah. I was thinking that we should go to a manga café."
"Manga? I didn't know you were into that."
"I love manga! And since you like reading too... I thought that this might be the best place for us to go."
"Alright then. I actually have a day off tomorrow, so we can go then."
"Okay! I'll text you tomorrow. Bye!" I walked off.
Did this actually happen? I can't believe I have a date with Kaneki... This is the best day of my life!
When I got home, I immediately texted Hikari telling her that my confession went the best way possible. She was even more excited than earlier.
Kaneki's POV
I watched (Y/n) walk off. I still couldn't believe that she liked me. After I went home, I took off my shoes and went to the bathroom to take a bath.
I took off my work uniform and got fully undressed, then got in the bathtub. I let out a sigh and laid down so only my head was sticking out of the water.
I hope my date with (Y/n) won't go like it went with... her...
The next day — (Y/n's) POV
W-WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?! God, I'm so unprepared after all! Should I stick with my casual clothes, or wear something fancy?
