She shifted restlessly on the grass, unable to get comfortable. Her loose t-shirt wrinkled at the hem, exposing a small strip of her belly. She looked down, frowning as the waning sunlight played on her skin. Spring was here, but it certainly didn't feel like it. Not if she was going to be this tense all the tine. Her fingers glided to her midsection, tracing gently on her lower belly, lifting her shirt ever so slightly. Half of her wanted to give her belly some attention, but she wasn't so sure she was in the mood. Rolling her shirt up all the way, she surveyed her soft tummy, still a bit pale from winter. She poked her finger idly into her deep belly button, enjoying the feeling but still detached.
As if on cue, she felt a tentative buzzing at her hip. Glancing down, she saw a yellowjacket, looking ragged and weary, hovering just above her, every so often placing its tiny feet on her tummy, then bouncing back up into the air. She could barely feel it, but even the slight touch suddenly had her mind on her belly and her usual warm weather pastimes. The insect, likely finally giving up, collapsed daintily onto her hip, it's triangular face pointed up at her as it sank, almost lying down on her. She traced her fingers in a faster spiral around her navel as she watched it, considering her diminutive visitor. She wanted to help it back to its feet, and she had an idea that could benefit both of them.
Reaching into her bag, tossed casually on the ground next to her, she pulled a bottle of water out, placing the base of it in the center of her belly, recoiling at the pleasant weight and coldness. Droplets of moisture already began forming on her belly, and the yellowjacket seemed to perk up already at their scent. She watched, suddenly very alert, as the insect sluggishly began to crawl up her belly, it's legs now noticeably ticklish, as it reached the first drop, lapping it up with it's tongue.
Now convinced that her plan would work perfectly, she grinned and lifted the bottle, pouring a small pool into her navel, then placing her hand over the bottle's mouth to splash some smaller drops across her belly. The wasp, now slightly damp but still visibly energized, made it's way at a steady pace across her belly, slurping up all the drops it could find. She sighed contentedly at her new, tiny friend's delicate steps, every so often feeling its tongue press against her skin, causing her belly to shiver.
The yellowjacket finally reached her navel, eagerly gulping down the water. Enjoying the sight of the tiny creature perched comfortably at the edge of her belly button, she tentatively reached town, stroking its striped back with her fingertip, as gently as she could but enough to press it a little closer to her belly. The insect buzzed halfheartedly, tapping it's abdomen against her belly, but was too distracted by it's drink to complain further.
As the water level in her navel went down further and further, the yellowjacket teetered forward on it's perch, making it's way deeper into her belly button. She laid back, arching her back at the feeling of her navel's new occupant, it's wiggling body and legs a comforting and exciting sensation. She could feel the insect licking and nipping at the very bottom of her navel, making sure it reached every bit of water, and looking down, saw its stinger was the only thing poking out. She stroked her belly happily as she watched the yellowjacket busily clean her navel of every bit of moisture, finally stumbling it's way back out onto her belly.
As she reached forward to pet the insect again, as a thank you, it took off, disappearing almost immediately. A bit disappointed that the fun had to end, but glad to have gotten the chance, she rose, lowering her shirt again and hefting her back. As she began to trued home, planning more escapades outside, she suddenly felt an usual tapping at her back. Turning, nothing met her glance at first, but then she felt it once again, this time at her front.
The yellowjacket had returned...or so she thought. Now, a small entourage had followed it, several of the brightly colored bugs diving at the hem of her shirt, bouncing off her covered tummy. With an excited laugh, she lifted her shirt as quick a she could, and taking care to to splash her new guests, dumped her entire water bottle onto her belly, sucking it in at the suddenly, cold shock.
The yellowjackets didn't waste a moment, swarming over her dripping, soaked belly, each of them landing for a moment, slurping some water, and taking off again, some heading straight for her navel, frantically crawling in and out. Finally, almost five of the insect were piled on top of her navel, squirming into it together to savor the last few drops. Almost moaning, she placed her hand over the wriggling group, holding them to her belly for just a few seconds, before releasing them, as the swarm disappeared back into the woods.
