I wake up feeling awful. I am in my own bed though, gosh, what happened last night?

I put my hand to the back of my head, ah.. "It hurts."

I got off my bed, realising that today is a saturday. Thank god I don't have to go to school.

"Good morning." I greeted my parents, "my daughter is a drunkard." Mother sighs, shaking her head.

I let out a giggle and head into the shower.

"My daughter, I found a job nearby. It's a barbecue place." Father stands outside the bathroom, rambling about stuff I can't hear because of the shower.

I step out in my sweater and sweatpants, "what did you say?" I look at my father.

I went to sit on the couch and grab a container of crackers, "you should go and date. You're not very young." Father says.

"I'm sick of love." I say in a low tone and put the container of crackers aside, a sudden lost of appetite.

"Are you going out later on?" Mother then ask, "yes, to find a job then study." I answered and grab an apple to eat.

"Focus on your studies, you're graduating soon." Father says, he wants to pay for everything but I won't let him. "Yes Appa." I walk into my room and prepare the things I need for today.

Hye-Yeon cancelled on me today, I am not surprise, she looked sick the other day.

I went to several cafes, bookstores and retail shops giving my resume. After that I head to the library, sitting at the far end. The coldest spot, it has a switch so I can charge my phone and laptop.

I can spend hours alone in the library, at times I forgot that I need to eat. Sometimes, I didn't know the library is closing soon.

I am a mess.

Someone then took a seat opposite of me, I look up, hoping it's Hye-Yeon.

Ani... It's the guy who I wished he would come back to me. Now I wish he drop dead.

"Chan-Yeol." I mutter out, he has this scary look in his eyes. "Have you gone around talking about me?" It is the first thing he asked.

"No."

Only Hye-Yeon knows everything, only her.

Chan-Yeol reaches out for my hands, he held out my wrists to him. "Really?" He is holding a little tightly, "really." I firmly say and pull back from his grip but he held on tighter, almost squeezing it.

He scoffed, "and you asked why I cheated on you."

Ouch.

"Give up—"

"Let go of her." A man stands by our table, omo.

He's famous.

"It's none of your business." Chan-Yeol squeezes my wrists, I try hard not to wince at the pain.

The man grabs Chan-Yeol by the shirt and pull him off the chair. I look down at my bare wrists, it has red marks around my wrists.

I feel like I couldn't breathe, what just happened? How could he just... Hurt me?

"Are you okay?" The man sits opposite of me, "thank you so much." I mutter out, a tear involuntarily roll down my cheek and onto my textbook.

"Does it hurt?" He grabs my hand gently, "I will be okay." I assured him and slowly slip my hand out of his.

"Thank you, Xiumin ssi."

He pulls down his mask, he has a small smirk on his face. "You can call me Minseok," he makes himself comfortable in the seat.

"I will study with you." My heart pounds, "you're not a crazy, right?" He looks at me then pulls his mask up to cover his face.

I shook my head no. "What is your name?" He ask.

"Chae-Rin." I answered, forgetting that I am in a library.

"Shh!" The students from the other table shush us.

Minseok picks up a piece of paper and wrote something really quickly and passes the table.

k. ms: you look pretty, you should smile more :-)

I blush and flash a small smile at him.

"I am studying for my pHD." Minseok says as he walks me home, I can't help but noticed there are people looking at us. It's honestly quite uncomfortable.

He has very grey hair, making him stand out in the crowd.

"I just want to graduate." I say, I can't help but feel awkward.

This is all a dream.

"Work hard." Minseok says.

"Who was that guy hurting you just now?" Minseok then ask. Of course he would.

"Chan-Yeol."

"Chan-Yeol?" Minseok repeats what I just said, why is he so surprised at that name?

"He is different from the Chan-Yeol I know." Minseok mutters.

"Ah, he's a member from EXO?" I want to slap myself so bad, I am so dumb. Minseok laughs at my remark, "are you a fan?"

"I am sorry, I love Sechskies." I stated, "ah." Minseok nods.

"So who is Chan-Yeol and why was he hurting you?" Minseok prompts.

It was as if the cat caught my tongue, I am not sure if I want to tell him. "He's my ex-boyfriend." I answered.

"That's all." I ended the conversation.

"My parents works here." I pointed to the restaurant, changing the subject. Minseok pulls the mask down to his subject, "can we eat?" Minseok ask, putting his hand to his stomach.

Ah, food. I didn't eat lunch today.

I smiled and nodded yes. I enter the restaurant and introduced Minseok to my parents, "how old are you? Why is your hair gray?" Father asks.

Oh god.

"Annyeonghaseyo, I am Kim Minseok." Minseok introduces, chuckling as he did.

"Is he your boyfriend?" Mother ask, coming out of the kitchen with a bowl of kimchi noodles.

"I am sorry." I apologise to Minseok and lead him to a seat.

"He's from EXO." I whisper to my parents as I pick up the menu from the counter. "It's a sign, you should date him." Mother says.

I sigh at what she said, she's crazy.
