Dating An Idol

Chapter 11

I hug Min-Seok tightly, he's leaving after the concert tonight. I can't be seen with him but I will be in the crowd.

"Ah... Otteoke." Min-Seok buries his head in my neck. I close my eyes and enjoy how comfortable it is to be in his embrace. He's so warm.

"You have to take care of yourself, you have to eat three meals okay." He pulls away and pokes my belly gently.

"You too." I held his hand, "I heard idols go on a strict diet." I say, Min-Seok nods his head. "Don't worry about it." He lets go of my hand and went to the fridge.

I am at his apartment for the first time. It's small but cozy. We're hanging out for awhile before he leaves for soundcheck. I will be working a short shift before the concert starts.

I got a backstage pass.

I wish Ji-Hyo could come, she would love it.

"Good luck on your competitions, don't hurt yourself." Min-Seok puts a tub of vanilla ice cream down on the counter, I pout when I hear those words.

Dancing isn't easy either, many have sprained ankles and bruised knees. Dancers could injured their arms too, it's not easy.

"Why are you crying?" Min-Seok drops his spoon on the floor, "huh?" I wipe away my tears. I laugh, gosh I am so dumb.

"I will miss you, Oppa." I wrap my arms around him. Min-Seok place his hand on the back of my head and kisses the top of my head, "it's only a few days." He says.

"It's 2 weeks." I corrected him.

Min-Seok pulls away and cups my face with his hands, "it will go by quickly, I will be back before you know it. I will pack you with me if I could."

He kisses me with his soft pinkish lips, every time we kiss I hope he doesn't pull away too soon. It's a nice feeling.

"You're so cute." He kisses my forehead, "so cute." He then pecks both sides of my cheeks. I let out a giggle and press my lips against his.

Min-Seok left to soundcheck and I left for work. "Annyeong." Ji-Hyo greets me when I step into the shop.

"Oh, why are you here?" I go behind the counter and put my bag down. "I am getting some materials for school." Ji-Hyo says.

"Then I am going to the concert." Ji-Hyo smiles excitedly.

"Have fun." Ji-Hyo nods her head, "of course I will."

A girl steps in wearing a yellow shirt and jeans, "unnie." She smiles at Ji-Hyo.

"Ah, Chae-Rin meet Eun-Mi." Eun-Mi bows politely to me, "Unnie, I am so excited!" She then jumps into the air.

"I can't wait to meet Xiumin."

My heart skip a beat when I hear his name, "maybe he will fall in love with me when he sees me standing in the crowd—"

"Not to crush your dream but there's almost 25,000 people in the stadium." Ji-Hyo cuts her off.

I took in a deep breath, "but I hope it happens between me and Baekhyun." Ji-Hyo then giggles.

"You should stan EXO too." Ji-Hyo looks at me, I slowly nod my head and forced a smile on my face, "maybe I will."

I handover the keys to the next part timer and got into the cab that I called.

I am excited.

But the thought of him not being around 14 days kills me. 

I arrived at the stadium, there's fans still waiting to go in. I put on my black mask before leaving the cab and entered backstage.

"Noona!" Sehun raises both of his arms in the air so I could easily spot him. I look up at him, "how do you know its me?"

"Because nobody is as pretty as you." Chanyeol jokingly answers. I scoff and felt a firm grip on my shoulder, "don't hit on my girlfriend." Min-Seok warns them. 

Sehun and Chanyeol laughs at him, "don't worry, she isn't swoon." Chanyeol says.

"Who's your favourite dongsaeng?" Chanyeol then ask. I pull my mask down to my chin, "well... I do not have one but if I do... It's not you two." Min-Seok burst out laughing at my reply.

"Noona... You're not my noona anymore." Sehun storms off like a little kid, "I will work harder- It's Baekhyun, isn't it?!" I shake my head at Chanyeol.

"I do not have one." I repeat myself.

Chanyeol opens his mouth to say something but then they had to gather. They're going on stage soon.

I am so excited for them.

I pat Min-Seok's back and walk to a spot where I can see the boys clearly.

During the 3 hours, I realise the love the fans have for them. I was in their position before too, I was young and living in my fantasy that I would date an idol.

But I am dating... An idol.

That's not the point. 

Majority of the fans wouldn't like it if someone is dating their idol, especially if they're their ulitmate bias.

EXO is currently the biggest boy band in Korea and also the rest of Asia. Soon, it will be the whole world.

I just want to love and be loved. It's already scary enough, I put my fear aside and trust Min-Seok. Now I have the whole world to fear.
