12//A day at the beach

Calum POV:

When i woke up the next day, i felt really nice cause i was able to have some fun with Vanessa yesterday.

I went to the bathroom and changed into my clothes then went downstairs to see everyone in their swimming suits.

"What's going on?" i ask like it wasn't obvious.

"We're going to the beach!" Michael started putting his shades on.

"As per Alliyah's request." Ashton continued with his arms wrapped around Alliyah.

They both make me sick.

Don't get me wrong, they look like a pretty good couple but...i just don't have someone to hug all the time and cuddle up with.

"Hey!!! Calum back to earth! Where is he going all the time?!" i heard Michael say.

"Sorry. I'll go get dressed." I said.

I rushed to my room and packed up fast and got dressed.

We hoped into the car and got a move on.

When we arrived at the beach, we all race for the water. No one else was there so we could do whatever we wanted.

We started to play so many things that it was too many to mention. All i knew was that Vanessa and Luke were just walking together and stuff like that. Sweet stuff.

"Hey! Wanna play in the water?" Michael shouts to Luke and Vanessa.

"Yeah!! We'll be there.." Luke shouts back. We started to push each other into the water and we played very very roughly.

I noticed that Vanessa was just standing there not in the water. I saw Luke playing with Michael. So i took my chance and ran to Vanessa, closed her eyes, then carried her into the water.

She was screaming and at the same time laughing.

"What's with the scared face?" i asked while still carrying her.

"I'm sort of afraid of the ocean" she simply said.

"Well there is nothing to be scared of. Let's get u to stand." I said releasing her slowly.

She listened and actually tried to swim and walk.

After a while, she was having so much fun splashing all of us.

"Thanks Calum." she whispered to me and then splashed my face with water.

"Oh so thats how you want it!" i splashed water at her too. We played and played until it was time to go home.

We change and got to the drive through of McDonalds and ate in the car.

"Today was fun." Vanessa said in the middle of finishing her food.

"Yeah." We all reply back.

When we got home, we all went to our own rooms. Alliyah was able to sleep in the car so Ashton carried her to his room and he slept with her.

"Goodnight Vanessa." i said even though Luke was right next to Vanessa.

"Goodnight Calum." she said while pulling me into a short hug.

"Thanks again." She said smiling.

"No problem." i sighed starting to blush. I hid it as fast as i could and got to my room.

At the corner of my eye i saw Vanessa going into Luke's room. I guess they were gonna sleep together.

Oh well. They are more likely to be the next couple rather than me and Vanessa. I just lay down in my bed and after a while i was able to fall fast a sleep.
