How Did I End Up Here?! || Kidnapped by 5SOS

Alliyah POV:

Its been two weeks since Vanessa was alive and kicking! I miss her! Please bring her back! She has been sick and hasn't waken up yet ever since! I want her back. She has been living out of a machine for days! We have a doctors appointment later. He said that there are some things we have to discuss about.

"Whats going on?" Luke asked as he entered.

"We're just waiting for you so we could go to the doctor now." Michael said as all of us got up and leave for the doctor.

"Bye. We'll be back." i said to Vanessa. Even though she can't hear me, i want to still talk with her and pretend that she could hear me. She flinches over and over again in her sleep and groans. That's all we hear from her all the time. I wish i could just walk her up and get her out of all the pain.

We enter the doctor's office right next to Vanessa's room. Which is a plus.

"Hello. Good afternoon." Dr. Blake greeted as we entered.

"Good afternoon too to you Dr. Blake." Michael says as he shook the doctors hand.

"Now, i have some good news and some bad news about Vanessa." he said as we all took a seat.

"Bad first. Then good." Calum started.

"Alright. So the bad news is, apparently, she didn't know she was diagnosed with stage one lung cancer when she was just 8 years old-" we cut the doctor off.

"Cancer?!" We all exclaimed together.

"How did she not know this?" I started.

"Her parents didn't want to tell her because at that time her cancer was still bearable and she didn't need medication and they didn't want to scare Vanessa. But little did they know, and little did we all know, that there was a hidden tumor in her and it spread. Through the years, she never knew so she just went with the constant heart pains and difficulty in breathing in stressful situations or hard core physical activities. She asked her parents on why she was having such a hard time during gym class and all they told her was she had a lung problem and that it was not a big deal. But, again, little did we all know it was spreading fast. Now, she is on stage 3 lung cancer and it's starting to spread to her colon as well." The doctor paused giving us time to take in all we were hearing.

"So, you're telling me that my best friend is dying right now and she never knew she had cancer?!" i started to get mad but i controled myself.

"Yes ma'am, but that's not all. She also is now in a deep sleep which is caused by the shots we are constantly giving her. She has to sleep to regain her strength and also, the medicine and dextrose has vitamins that help her sustain her muscles but she is still getting thinner by the day. We have to keep an eye on her. I know you want to see her awake now but she has to rest. Only for two more days then she will completely wake up." the doctor ended as all of us let out a sigh of relief that all the bad news was over.

"And the good news?" Calum continued.

"Yes, the good news is that she will not have to be living by a machine soon. We have no specific date but she will be able to move around and will, hopefully, have enough strength to walk and move on her own. But for now, she has to be on bed 24/7 just to be safe. The nurses will take care of the medicine intake. And she will also not be needing her head shaved off. And none of her hair will fall off, thats for sure." The doctor ends.

"Thank you Dr. Blake." Luke said as we got up.

"You're very welcome." he continued as we all walked out the door.

We walked in silence as we tried to take in all the information about Vanessa.
We entered the room and still saw her asleep. Not peacefully at all. She was still flinching. Luke walked up to her and kissed her cheek. I saw a tear fall from the side of his cheek.

We all just watched her in silence. Nobody dared to take their eyes off of her. She was so peaceful yet so troubled. What can we do to help?

Helloooo!! What cha think? I think things are turning out sad but dont be sad coz....its not good to be sad. Haha. If ya'll are wondering if the book is almost done or nah, it is almost done! Just a few more short-ish, long-ish chapters then the Epilogue then we are done! High five! Then I'll sit back and relax and watch this book be read by peeps. Joke! I'll be making another book up in here when this is done. So I'll be making 2 books at the same time coz of my other account! I'm so excited!!
