School was quite, no, I was quite. The thoughts that ran through my mind are too exhausting so I don't have any energy to do anything else. My friends notice that I'm not my happy, perty self and only mentioned it athousend times.

It got quite annoying after the third time, so you could only imagine how aggravated I'm feeling now. I just wanted the day to be over so I could go to Luke’s Cafè and get a hot cocoa.

After a long an excruciatingly painful day, the dismissal bell rang at 2:30. I bolted out of that class room faster than I ever have before. I met my friends by our lockers and we proceed to walk out of the school and down to Luke's like we always did after school.

They we're talking about Riverdale or something with blue lips. Though I wasn't listening, my thoughts are too loud for me to hear anything.

“Evie?” Mollie asked. I guess she either notice I was lost in space, or she ask me something I didn't respond. Either or, I still didn't hear her and remained in my own little world. “Evie! Earth to Evie!” She waved a hand in front on my face, snapping me out if my trance.

“W-what?” I said, shaking the fog out of my head.

“I swear girl, your not yourself today. Are you sure your okay?”

“Yes! For the thousand time today, I'm fine! I just need some sugar in my system.” With a little laugh from all the girls, I pulled on the door of Luke's Cafè. Only, it didn't budge. I read the sign that was on the door. “It's close, due to rats.” I grone.

“Ewwww!” My friends let out in unison.

“Now what?” I ask, running my fingers through my hair.

“We go home?” Nala suggest. “There's not another decent restaurant in walking distance.”

“Ya, your right.” I grone one more time. Today just isn't my day is it?

With that we all walk back to out little development. Normally I'm the last one home. My sister has dual enrollment so she always comes home early, and my brother is only get home around 15 minutes before I do. Though without stopping at Luke's, I seam to have beat my brothers home. I can hear my sister watching TV upstairs, though I don't hear any loud screams, thumps it bangs. Yep, I've beat my brothers home.

I go upstairs and enter my room, only I soon realize my sister isn't in fact watching TV. The laughs I assumed we're coming from a TV, actually seem to be quite real. Did my sister have someone over? Maybe she had a guy over! Tea! I dropped my backpack in my room and enter my sister's. Only who I saw wasn't who I thought it all. There was a girl in my sister's room. On it's own that would have been completely normal. Though this way far from that. The girl had dark long hair, hazel eyes, and was wearing all black. Again, all in all, normal. Only she was on my sister's bed. On top on my sister!
