5 Years Later

Chapter 2

Midoriya stared at her for a bit then back into the crowd. "To be honest with you..." he chuckles nervously, rubbing his neck, "I've never been one for dancing like that. Want to find a table and wait for some people?" Izuku asked, smiling sheepishly.
Tsuyu stared at him then nodded. "Lead the way, Izuku." She said in her usual tone then stood behind him.
Izuku started to lead them through the hoard of people, getting pushed around here and there. Midoriya heard a faint ribbit from behind him and felt Tsuyu tug on his coat. "Alright, w-we made it through." He says quickly and points to an empty table. "We can sit there for a while until Uraraka and Lida get here. B-but you don't have to if you want! It's just what i'm going to do for the time being! I didn't want to imply that you had to wait here with me-" he kept rambling on until he noticed her staring at him.
"Uh... sorry. I still do that, heheh." Izuku apologizes.
"Don't worry about it." She says with a little ribbit, sitting down on the seat away from the party.
     Izuku sat down next to her and kept his stare at the entrance and the table. Sitting in silence was something he dreaded but he also didn't want to make any awkward remarks towards Tsuyu. He then attempted to say something but Tsuyu beat him to the punch.
     "How have you been Izuku?" She asks him, giving him her always emotionless stare.
      "O-oh, i've been g-great," realizing his stutter, he clears his throat and breaths, "...I found a nice place to make my home, my hero career has never been better and I'm getting to see my old friends again!" He said completely, feeling very proud of himself.
     Tsuyu stares at him then looks down at the table a bit. "Thats good. After we graduated and became pros, my family decided to move out after my father retired. So I kept their house and make payments on it myself. But I do agree  Izuku, it is great to be able to see every again." She says with a slight smile and ribbits.
     Izuku looked at her smile and felt his face heat up before hearing a familiar voice. "Dekuuu!" A female yelled through the loud music and talking.
     Izuku and Tsuyu looked over and saw a brunette and black haired boy speed walking their way.
     "Uraraka! Lida..! Wait Lida, you wear contacts now?" Izuku laughed a bit and stared at Lida's bare face.
      "Yes! I saw my glasses as a hazard when in combat. If I lost them, Sight would be my downfall so here I am! A new and awakened hero!" Lida says proudly, making Uraraka laugh along with Izuku.
     "Hello, Ochako and Lida." Tsuyu says and peers over from behind Izuku.
      "Oh! Tsuyu," Uraraka says excitedly and hugs her, "i didn't know you and Izuku were a thing!" She laughs and pats Izuku's shoulder.
     "U-Uraraka! W-we're-" Izuku stammered again but Tsuyu cut him off.
      "Oh? I thought everyone knew by now?" Tsuyu laughed softly seeing Izuku's red face glow even redder then shook her head. "No, we're just friends for now." She added finally, smiling at the still beetroot Izuku. 
      Uraraka giggled softly and sat next to Tsuyu and Lida sat next to Izuku. "Izuku! How has your hero career been?" Lida asked, smiling widely at his friend.
     Izuku smiled back and began to talk to Lida about his career as a new hero. Meanwhile, Uraraka was talking to Tsuyu about friends and their lives now.
      "Heheh... so you two really aren't..?" She puts her fingers together as a heart and jerks her head to Izuku.
      Tsuyu just smiles and shakes her head. "No no. I'm not his type." She laughs sadly and stares at the table.
      "What makes you say that? He's one of our best friends! He's sweet and cares for everyone... even him." She makes an explosion sound and makes Tsuyu laugh a bit.
      "I.... I dunno. I just don't see myself doing something like this." Tsuyu says quietly and stares at Izuku laughing with Lida and drinking a bit of champaign.
      Ochako stared at Tsuyu then Izuku and nodded her head. "I have an idea." She said before Tsuyu could object then stood up.
      "Lida! Come with me, I think I see some old teachers." She yanks the confused Lida out of his seat and winked at Tsuyu. "Bye Deku! We'll talk again later, ok?!" She says quickly then tugs Lida away from the table into the crowd.
       Izuku stared at them leaving and tilted his head. "Okay...?" He chuckles then turns to face Tsuyu. "So it's just us again, eh?"
      Tsuyu just nods and stares at him some more then grips the table a bit. "Izuku..." she begins and stares at him.
     "Do you like me?"
