"Today's the day, Izuku. You got this" Izuku said calmly to himself, rubbing his hair dry with a towel. He stared at his reflection and began to take notes on his face. He noticed how much he changed since he was a kid still. He was proud of the man he became. As he looked down to his outfit folded on the toilet lid, he squatted down and rummaged a bit into them, pulling out the ring's box. He smiled at it and nodded, gripping it tightly then quickly stuffing it back inside the pile as he heard Tsuyu knock on the door.
"Izuku, you almost ready?" She asked in her typical blunt tone.
He threw on his T-shirt and jeans, pulling up his socks and fixing his messy hair. The thought of popping the question grew more naggingly in his head as he stuffed the box in his pocket and opened the door. "Yeah, sorry! My hair just wouldn't cooperate. I'm ready when you are!" Izuku replied nervously then felt Tsuyu's blank stare piercing his soul.
She stared at him intently, not blinking or moving then turned around, making her way to the door. "Alright. I was thinking about meeting up with Mina for some brunch. Kirishima will be there i believe." She stated, completely ignoring the fact that she practically scared Izuku to death.
He sighed briefly then nodded, going to the door to grab his large coat. It was still rather chilly out, but not as bad as yesterday. As he buttoned up his coat, he felt Tsuyu wrap an arm around his and rested her head against his arm. She was still silent, but her actions spoke out what she wanted to say. Izuku smiled softly and and continued buttoning his coat. "I love you too, Tsuyu."
She quietly let out a ribbit and and eased up, satisfied with the attention she wanted, but kept her hand on his arm. She waited patiently for him to finish fumbling with his coat and looked at him again. "Izuku. I want to ask you something later today, ok?" She abruptly asked, catching his attention once more.
The seriousness in her tone startled izuku a bit but he nodded once he saw her expression. She was blushing quite a bit then helped him with his coat. After the coat issue was settled, they left her house and made their way to the ramen shop they were going to meet Mina and Kirishima at.
The walk was calm. No one was really out today. It was a relaxing walk through the snowy streets of Japan. Tsuyu and Izuku's hands were locked the whole way until they finally reached the shop. A girl with bright pink and messy, long hair was waving them down as well as a very manly man smiling brightly at them next to her.
