"Do you like me?"
Izuku saw her lips move but couldn't hear her properly over the now escalating music volume. He opened his mouth slowly but before he could even say anything, he felt a skinny hand grip his shoulder and he whirled around to see All Might staring down at him, smiling.
"Young Midoriya! I've heard of your feats and I was hoping to see you here! Look at you now! You look incredible, young one!" He said proudly, the skinny man pulling a seat out next to Midoriya.
Izuku smiled at All Might. "All Might! Yeah, i've been busy, heheh! You look..." he looked at All might who's golden hair turned to a faded blond, wore tired eyes and seemed to be filling out a little though, "good too." He coughed out then turned back to Tsuyu who was now gone.
"... I didn't interrupt something did I, young Midoriya?" All Might asks, glancing at the empty seat.
With a shrug, Izuku turned back around and looked solemn. "I don't know. But..." he sighs and rests his head in an arm while All Might pats his back.
~Tsuyu POV~
Once All Might stole Midoriya away, she slipped away from the table and started walking aimlessly into the crowd of people. She kept her blank face as she pushes through the dancing hoard and finds herself at the buffet line.
"I shouldn't've asked him that so soon. I embarrassed him too much... there goes any chance." She mutters and fills her plate with random food items.
As she walked away from the buffet table, she watched her old friends converse in pairs, mainly as a couple. She even saw Jirou back away from the tables to hug Denki quickly then return to her job, face beaming red.
Tsuyu kept walking through the dancing couples and sat at a lone chair near the entrance, eating her food.
~Normal POV~
Uraraka spots Tsuyu sitting alone and she feels her heart skip a beat. Apologizing to the group she was with, she speeds over to Tsuyu, then slows down to a stop in front of her. "Tsu? What happened?" She asked softly.
Tsuyu doesn't look at Uraraka but sighs, putting her roll down then looks at her. "All Might showed up. And I think I messed it up..." she says dimly then looks down at her plate.
Tsuyu feels a hand press against her shoulder and looks up at Uraraka, who was wearing a slim smile. "It's ok! We have a whole week to reconnect until we need to leave." Uraraka says happily.
"We just need to get Deku alone. Here won't work, but if you already asked him then we'll need to figure something else out." Uraraka started to plan then looked around for him.
"You said All Might is with him, yes?" She asked Tsuyu who nodded in response.
"That old man... hm... ok, trust me." Uraraka says before Tsuyu got a chance to respond.
She quickly tapped Tsuyu's shoulder and made her float. Making sure she was secured, Uraraka ran around to find Izuku, spotting him with All Might. "Deku! Come here," Uraraka yanked the stuttering and spazzing green fuzz ball out of his seat, "we need to settle something!" She says and drags him over the empty seats, while All Might just watches them leave in confusion.
"Jeeze Uraraka! What's wrong?!" He wiggles free of her grip and rubs his throat, still feeling her tough grip yanking him here.
"What did you do to Tsuyu?" She said, a little annoyed.
"W-what do you mean!? I did something wrong?!" Izuku began to panic a bit and Uraraka sighed.
"I guess not... but you left her alone! Why?" She stomped her foot and subliminally moved Izuku around her to stand under the still floating Tsuyu.
"What are you talking about Uraraka? She left the table when All Might came! I just couldn't..." he continued on while she just crossed her arms and muttered "release" under her breath.
A sharp ribbit was heard and Tsuyu plopped onto the still stammering Izuku. "Oh no! This wasn't supposed to go like that! Tsuyu! Izuku! Are you two ok??" Uraraka quickly asked as she helped both of them up.
"I'm ok... I'm sorry for doing this Izuku and Ochako. I was just so excited to see my old friends again that I let my emotions get the best of me right there." Tsuyu said quietly, walking to the exit.
"No Tsuyu! I should apologize. I got involved in something I shouldn't have already and I got you both hurt." Uraraka apologizes and bows to them both, Tsuyu glancing over her shoulder at them both.
"Tsuyu... I didn't mean to ignore you back there. What is that you wanted to ask me?" Izuku began, trying to reel his froggy friend back inside.
"...It's not important." Tsuyu said bluntly with a hint of sadness and turned back, walking away from the school.
"What did she say?! This has something to do with me and I feel at fault now! C'mon! Think Deku!" Izuku quickly thinks and try's his best to remember.
He can't remember a thing and imagines how she must've felt, thinking he was ignoring her possibly.
"Oh no..." he mutters quietly then feels his face flush in heat from guilt.
The dancing continues as the faint sound of rain begins to pour in from outside, Izuku still staring out there while Uraraka tried to pull him back to reality.
"-ku. -eku! DEKU!" Uraraka's voice ringed loudly into his ears as Izuku snaps back into reality.
"W-what! Oh, Uraraka... I feel terrible. I didn't mean to..." he trails off, glancing back outside.
"Hey! Don't worry about it. She's a very sensible person... i'm sure she understands but... should we bring her back? Actually," Uraraka pushes Izuku outside forcefully, "catch up to her and take her home. It's raining and she could get hurt. Who knows." She giggled and pushed the resisting Izuku more.
"Uraraka! It's cold! Stop..!" He squirms but fails, slipping and nearly falling as he catches himself.
"Fine! If anyone asks, I had to go early!" He yells over the rain and music.
Uraraka just gives him a thumbs up and shuts the gym doors, leaving Izuku out in the rain. Wasting no time, he activates full cowl and bolts off in the direct he assumed she went.Heyo.
