5 Years Later

Chapter 13

     The sweet scent of honey and tea gently wafted in the air. Izuku's nose twitched softly and he opened his eyes. He didn't feel like moving, due to a mysterious pain shooting up his back. He groaned silently then looked over at his clock. "1:15." It read.
     He sighed then looked over the other side and nearly jumped. A slumped figure was sitting in a chair. Next to them was the tea he was smelling. Slowly, he sat up, grunting at the pain that was shooting up his back and reached for the lamp.  Flicking it on, he saw Tsuyu asleep in the chair, holding onto a small, wet rag. Come to think of it, his forehead did feel rather moist.
     He crawled over the bed and got down on his knees next to Tsuyu. He didn't want to wake her but also didn't want to strain whatever injury he had. Come to think of it, Izuku doesn't remember how he even got it. All he remembered from earlier was walking inside, then nothing. "Maybe i blacked out..?" He whispered quietly then gently laid his scarred hand on hers.
     He braced himself then scooped his arms under her legs and behind her back, picking her up slowly, and painfully for him. The sharp pain was stabbing him horribly but he gritted his teeth and slowly turned around, setting Tsuyu down in bed, took the rag from her, then tucked her in.
     Izuku was already sweating from the pain then remembered the tea. It was cold but smelt strong. He took a cup and slowly sipped it down. The faint taste of honey mixed with the green leaves really soothed his nerves. He felt tired already.
     "Well... whatever happened to me can wait for tomorrow. And tomorrow... will be a good day."  Iuzku said calmly, then noticed he was still half dressed in his uniform. "Ah... a quick change then off to bed." He chuckled then changed.

Warmth. That's all Tsuyu felt. Her sleep was interrupted by her body feeling warmth. Opening her eyes slowly, she saw little to nothing but felt at ease. She sniffed and recognized Izuku's scent. 'Oh..? When did I get into bed? I guess he woke up shortly after I laid him down..?' Tsuyu thought to herself as she snuggled into Izuku's chest, wrapping her arms around him.
Tsuyu decided to listen to his heart, it's slow, yet strong pumps beating against her cheek. As her hands were wrapped against his back, she began to feel up and down at his scars. All the training he did to master One for All really took it's toll on his skin. She felt bad, knowing what he had to do to own his power, but still smiled slimly at his determination. She remembers seeing him day one at U.A. And at the entrance exam. How he destroyed the zero pointer robot and how he refused to use his powers at the challenge.
As she thinks back on the past and how much she remembers, she ribbits then smiles. She used to wonder why she remembered so much of him but now realizes that she might have loved him from the very beginning.
But now she started to wonder on another topic... will they get married? They've been dating for a while, so the option should've been a thought by now. 'Maybe Izuku's been too busy to think about it? Or maybe he hasn't considered it at all.' She thought then sighed, tightening her hold on her sleeping hero.
Plus, marriage could be troublesome if one got seriously hurt during their duties. If anything were to happen to Izuku... She stopped thinking negatively by shutting her eyes and shaking her head, hoping to forget about this.
This action seemed to have awoken Izuku, unbeknownst to Tsuyu. She jumped slighty as two burly arms enveloped her as well, feeling a soft kiss plant itself on her head. "Good morning, Tsu. Thank you for taking care of me last night. I have no idea what even happened." Izuku said tiredly.
Tsuyu just nodded, thinking back on how she dropped kicked him into their wall last night. "You were so exhausted, Izuku. The second you walked in you collapsed. Don't over work yourself again, ok?" She lied, but was also hoping he would take her warning as well.
Izuku just smiled dumbly then sat up, nodding. "I will. Today's our day off so how about we go to the mall? I heard that All Might will be there!" Izuku's eyes sparkled at the thought of seeing his old mentor again.
Tsuyu sighed with relief after he bought her lie then nodded, sitting up and fixing her hair into a bow. "Okay, Izuku. But please bathe first. You didn't get a chance to last night."
"O-oh right! Sorry!" He shot out of bed then ran into the bathroom, leaving Tsuyu to smile to herself as she lifted a finger to her lips.

See? Told ya i'll update more now! Anyway, Hope you enjoyed this chapter but I might make changes to earlier chapters to make it more consistent with the story i'm trying to progress. Hope it won't be confusing in the long run!
