The rain was more gentle on the skin near the train station. It was a nice cool feeling. Tsuyu enjoyed this feeling as she neared the train station. The quiet girl sat under the pavilion on a bench and stared at the clock. "Thirty minutes...," she began then blinked slowly, "I hope everyone isn't too upset that I left the dance..." Tsuyu sighs quietly and twiddles her fingers together, staring down at her hands.
As she waits, Tsuyu replays what happened earlier over and over in her head. "Even if All Might didn't show up, the mood was still ruined." She mumbles and recalls how loud the music conveniently got.
Shaking her head, she looks up at the view in front of her. Bushes and a chain link fence with ivy growing all over it practically. With a quiet sigh, she looks over to her right and spots something moving at incredible speeds towards her. Tsuyu got up to get a better look at the speeding object.
Eventually, the object zoomed past her with a woosh sound and she could faintly hear her name being said quickly. The green blur stopped abruptly at the other end of the station and bent over, breathing quickly and sharply.
"Oh Izuku. Why did you follow me?" Tsuyu says and tilts her head.
"I... didn't want y-you... to leave and feel left o-out." Izuku wheezed before standing up and holding his arms over his head to breath.
Tsuyu smiles a bit at the tired, flustered, green-haired boy then shrugged. "I dunno. Parties aren't my speed. I would've enjoyed it more if we could've talked more." She says then thinks about her previous actions.
"Well... I guess...," Deku quickly looks for the train schedule and saw that they had 15 minutes to chat, "we could talk for a bit here... I-if you want to that is?" He suggested and smiled sheepishly.
Tsuyu stares at him then nods in content, sitting back down and patting the seat next to her. "Ok. I guess we could start on the past few years." She says and stares at Izuku as he sits next to her.
He nods his head and rubs his throat, feeling the dry throat from running still. "Yeah, uh... *cough*, I found a more effective way to utilize my quirk fully. Both in arms and in legs. As well as Full Cowl... also..." he begins to ramble on about his quirk and the progress he's made.
Tsuyu listens to him but couldn't help and stare deeply at him. She felt her stomach twist a bit when he made eye contact during his conversation and longed to tell him how she felt. "That sounds amazing, Izuku. I wish my quirk could've been made to be a more offensive ability more than just support. I mean I do like it but I want to be up there with you and Lida and everyone else really... I don't want to be stuck with Mineta." She adds as a joke and smiled warmly at Izuku.
He felt his face heat when she smiled at him and he returned it, even if it was a shaken one. "Heheh... Mineta has gotten better... but that's not saying a lot, is it?" He jokes back. "But don't sell yourself short. You did a great job fending for you own when you fought those villains a few years back. The way you tied your tongue around one and knocked him into the other then leaped into the air and slammed them down. That was top hero material if you ask me." He stopped his rambling and smiles widely, his freckles glowing from his flushed face.
Tsuyu noticed this and just smiled, twirling her fingers again. "Well thanks, Izuku. I didn't expect anyone to notice that other than Mineta and Mina. But I'm happy you saw what I can do." She says bluntly then held a finger to her lip. 'Well... that came out weirdly... I think? Or maybe i'm freaking out.. just calm down Tsu...' she reassures herself.
Izuku just nods his head and hears the train coming. "Wow, time sure did fly, huh? I almost wish we had another hour to keep chatting." He chuckles and stands up, eyeing Tsuyu as the train pulled in.
She stands up and brushes her bottom off from the bench and smiles at Izuku. "Thank you for coming after me just to talk. It made this party thing a bit better honestly." She says then ribbits happily.
"Heheh, g-glad I could help. Oh wait!" He blurts out and grabs Tsuyu's wrist before she gets on the train.
Tsuyu turns around and locks eyes with a shaking, flushed red Deku. She felt his grip loosen as he apologized then took a deep breath. "Alright... D-Do you want to m-meet up somewhere tomorrow? NOT-LIKE-A-DATE!" He sputtered quickly at the end, making Tsuyu chuckle.
"Yeah sure. The mall?" She suggests then Izuku nods. "Y-yeah! The mall! Tomorrow at 12, sound good?"
Tsuyu nods then waves goodbye to Izuku, who was waving back. As she finds a seat, a man smiled at her and leaned forward a bit. "Leaving loved ones is always hard, huh? You seem to be doing fine though! Not your first time I assume?" He questioned her with a grin.
Tsuyu felt her face glow red and she turned away embarrassed. "We're not dating. Just... friends." She added, trying to keep her sadness under her embarrassment.
The man just rolled his eyes then shut them. "Whatever you say, miss." He says then proceeds to nap, leaving Tsuyu to her thoughts.
"Yeah... just friends..." she whispers then leans against a pole, staring down at her lap.Heyo, i'm back. Sorry this one was short. I'm not that good at writing longer stories ;-; but I hope you still enjoy what I give to you!
