Lygienel's POV

2 months had already passed. Many things just happened, my friendship with Darren deepened. It seems like we knew each other for years. Although, we just met. Juan Karlos and I's friendship didn't change, though.

Juan Karlos and I didn't become distant as what he had expected what will happen to us after I'll be friends with Darren. I was happy, though. I think I could trust Darren, too. Or maybe not? Wait, why not?

Gosh, they are both getting me so insane.

It's the month of August now. Our school principal and school director said that on the whole month of August, we're going to speak Tagalog. It's because it's the Buwan ng Wika month. For some, it's a bad news and for some, it's a very good news. Just like for Claudeline, she's not that fluent in English. And, I don't even get it why she entered SMU at all.

"Gienel, let's eat lunch later, okay?" Juan Karlos asked me. I nodded and smiled at him. Gosh! How I missed this guy. Hey was my first guy bestfriend this school year. And I think, it will be so hard for me, being separated away from me.

I was about to nod when I realized that we have shortened classes today because the one on the 9th Grade are taking their mock tests. Then I sternly looked at JK and I think he already got the message. "Oh yeah, let's hangout at your place yeah? Babysit Rage again," he said. I grinned, hugging him.

"That's a good idea, JK!" I exclaimed, pulling myself away from him. He smiled then, grinned at me. "Rage missed you so much, you know," I said, wrapping my arm on his arm. I looked at him in his face as he looks back at me. Then, he pouted. My eyebrows knitted at him. "Why?" I asked him. Clinging into him more.

"If Rage missed me, did you missed me?" He slowly asked me, and then, slowly leaning into my face. I blushed a bit. He chuckled. I rolled my eyes.

"Gosh, JK. Fine, I missed you too," I said. It was true because there was never a dull moment whenever I'm with JK. He frowned. Ano na naman ba? "What again?" I asked him, a bit annoyed. "Lygienel, you were like napipilitan when you said that eh," he said. I rolled my eyes at him, again. Then, I suddenly heard a loud thump. What was that? Ugh, nevermind.

"Hindi ah. I really did missed you," I said, pouting at him. He grinned at me as he put his hand on my head, messing my hair. I groaned. "Ugh, JK! Not my hair," I whined at him. He giggled as he fixed it again. He was so sweet, right?

"I've missed you, JK," I repeated, making JK blushed a bit. I chuckled. Just as then, Darren walked passed by us without saying a single word nor even saying a single hi or hello, and he didn't even greet us with his wave.

"Darren!" I called him, removing my arm on JK's arm. Darren, again, didn't say a single word yet, he faced us with an annoyed and angry look. He was staring at us with a death glare. I was so scared with his look. He looks like he's going to kill someone.

"Darren, Juan Karlos and I were just going to hang-" I was about to finish my sentence when he cut me off by walking away again, saying "Whatever." "I'm going to text you later, okay?!" I shouted at him as Darren walks away. I was confused and hurt when Darren shouted back at me, "I. DON'T. CARE!"

"What the heck is his problem?" Juan Karlos cursed, asking. I looked at him. "I have.. no idea," I told Juan Karlos the truth. Then, Juan Karlos chuckled at me as he says, "Maybe he's just jealous with me because he can't do that with you." I blushed a bit. The Darren Lyndon Gonzales Espanto, a jealous guy? Heck no. "Psh. Stop it, JK," I said, smacking JK's arm. Then, he took my arm, walking away with him.
