Lygienel's POV

Tomorrow morning, when I got to enter the room, our classmates were really noisy. As always. Then, Juan Karlos immediately ran into me and grabbed my bag then, placed it to my seat. What a gentleman. I sat beside him.

Then, I glanced at my back, to see Darren not yet on his seat. I was shocked when Mr. Villaseñor, our TLE teacher entered the room. "Good morning, Grade 8 - Saint Joseph, the cream section. I'm Mr. Villaseñor and for a while, I'll be Mrs. Mariano's substitute for to-" Mr. Villaseñor was cut off by Darren walking inside the room.

"Good morning, sir. Sorry I'm late," Darren greeted Mr. Villaseñor, sitting down. I looked at Darren and smiled. He didn't smiled back at me, instead, he rolled his eyes on me. I was shocked.

"So back at way I am saying, our Foundation Day will be held this November, which is in three months. And the Marian Fairs will be held this December. Regarding our Foundation Day, the 8th Grade is assigned to present a play at the SMU's Auditorium," he said. I rolled my eyes. Foundation Day's plays are really stressing.

"All the names that I'm going to call, meet me at the auditorium after class," Mr. Villaseñor said as he started to call names. ".. and the main characters are Juan Karlos Labajo," when Mr. Villaseñor said that, I looked at Juan Karlos and squeezed his hand, silently squealing.

" Maria Claudeline Reyes," Mr. Villaseñor continued. I face palmed. It's not that I hate her so much. I just have that guts that.. she's not that nice. "Darren Lyndon Espanto and.. Lygienel Reign Lim okay guys, I'll meet you later at the auditorium yeah?" Mr. Villaseñor said, walking out of the room. I smiled. Darren and I were part of the play. I'll take this opportunity to talk to him and say sorry to him.

I glanced at Darren to see him looking down at the floor. I'm guessing that he really don't want to be with me for the reason that only Darren knows. I don't want to invade his privacy.. so I won't ask him what the main reason of him ignoring me was.

"Well, it looks like.. you're part of the play, huh?" Juan Karlos asked, smirking, teasing me. I slightly smacked his arm with my right hand. I rolled my eyes. "I know right. It's just so much stress for me," I told him. He laughed at me, putting his arm around my shoulder. "Well at least, you got to see me everyday, and you got to be with me.. every time," he said, winking at me. I blushed a bit.

"See? You're blushing," he teased me, pinching my cheeks. I snatched his hand away from my face. "Oh Juan Karlos, just shut up already," I told him. He chuckled and messed my hair. Ugh this boy.

It was already dismissal time, it means, we have to go to the auditorium. I was with Juan Karlos, Rinoa, Hanate *he's a boy*, our classmate and Rinoa's best friend, Sofia and Kevin. Michelle isn't with us because she isn't a part of the play.

"What do you think our play is?" Rinoa suddenly asked. Rinoa was always a cool friend. Inside the classroom, she's a president. But outside, she's a funny, cool and playful. I like the inner side of her, I love the other side of her, being cool, open and funny.

"I have no idea, we could've wait for the announcement, y'know?" Kevin said, laughing. Then, we all laughed. "I'm going to miss this. Are you really have to go to Germany next year, Lygienel?" Hanate opened up. When Hanate asked that, everyone stopped laughing. Then, I thought Juan Karlos, he hates it when someone opens up that topic.

"I'm so sorry guys, but I have to." I told them. At my side, Juan Karlos was looking at the ground while his arm around my shoulder. He was so quiet. "Sorry, JK. I shouldn't have opened that up," Hanate said quietly, fake chuckling. Juan Karlos looked up at Hanate, smiled at him then nodded. "It's okay, let's go to the auditorium, shall we?" JK asked with the fake British accent, holding my hand.
