Chapter 20 (Epilogue)

Lygienel's POV

"I wanna make you smile whenever you're sad. Carry you around when your arthritis is bad," Juan Karlos sang. I grinned at the TV, blushing as I teary-eyed watched him. Juan Karlos never failed to make me proud.

"It might be worth it," Lea said. I smiled and said in my head, "Yeah! It's very worth it." I was the only one in the living room right now. Here in Germany, I'm at my uncle and aunt's house, they have this rule that every night, we should sleep around 8pm. I did it though, I slept at 5pm and woke up at 1am just to watch Juan Karlos perform.

"Oh all I wanna do is grow old with you. I'll get your medicine when your tummy ache," Juan Karlos continued singing. The way he sang just made me blush so hard.

"Oh, Adam Sandler," Lea said again, reacting to what JK is singing. "Build you a fire if the furnace breaks. Oh it could be so nice, growing old with you," JK sang.

"Si Coach Bamboo, medyo nandun na," Luis Manzano said from the backstage. I smiled. I know Juan Karlos will get it through the blinds. I know.

"I'll miss you, kiss you, give you my coat when you are cold," Juan Karlos continued singing, hitting the notes right. The audience were clapping through the beat. "It's worth it, I think it is. But, not for me," Lea Salonga said.

"Need you, feed you, even let you hold the remote control," JK sang. Oh c'mon coaches, just press the I WANT YOU button! Then, I was so happy when coach Bamboo hit the I WANT YOU button, making me jump on the couch. "OMGGG!" I shouted while covering my hand. On the backstage, uncle Giovanni was jumping on his place while clapping.

"So let me do the dishes in our kitchen sink," JK sang happily while smiling because coach Bamboo turned on his chair. Then, miss Sarah pressed the I WANT YOU button. I rolled in the couch, freaking out. "Put you to bed when you've had too much to drink," Juan Karlos continued singing confidently. Then, miss Sarah and coach Bamboo laughed.

"I could be the man who grows old with you," Juan Karlos ended the song. Making coach Bamboo laugh really hard. I chuckled on my seat. "What's going on? What's going on?" Lea asked. I laughed. You better check it yourself, miss Lea. JOKE.

"I like that," coach Bamboo said. "Oh hello!" Miss Lea and miss Sarah both said in unison. "Hello, Ms. Sarah," Juan Karlos greeted miss Sarah, making me blush so much. Oh my gosh, Juan Karlos is just so charming in TV, specially in personal.

"Anong pangalan mo?" Sarah asked. "My name is Juan Karlos Labajo po," Juan Karlos replied politely. "Ipinangalan po ako sa King of Spain, King Juan Carlos, *right spelling*" Juan Karlos added making coach Bamboo reply, "Your highness."

Juan Karlos rubbed his head and said, "Pero, hindi po ako mayaman." The three coaches laughed at the same time. I bit my lip, preventing myself from laughing. "Ilang taon ka na?" Ms. Sarah asked JK. "I'm 13 years old. Yes, Ms. Sarah," JK said, moving his eyebrows, making everyone cheer and laugh even coach Lea stood up from her seat saying oh my god. I blushed because JK used to do that to me.

"Juan Karlos, kanino mo idinededicate yung kantang yan?" Sarah asked. Juan Karlos smiled and answered, "I'm dedicating this song to my mom, who just passed away last November 17, 2013. And, I actually have her picture.. as my lucky charm." Juan Karlos said while pulling his mom's picture out of his pocket. Then, everyone clapped and cheered.

"It's definitely worth," coach Bamboo said. I smiled, teary-eyed. I always knew behind Juan Karlos and his mom. "Siguradong-sigurado akong ang mommy mo ay tuwang-tuwa ngayon," miss Sarah said. I smiled, I'm sure JK's mom is proud of him.
