Lygienel's POV
I was on my way home when my Dad texted me. I was so very nervous because firemen kept on roaming around the streets of San Manuel, Isabela. What was happening?
From: Dada
To: Bebe GieOur house is on fire. Tell manong driver to wait for us at the Espanto's.
I was so shock. Our house, on fire?! I panicked. "Manong, sabi ni Daddy, maghintay daw po tayo sa labas ng bahay nila Mr. Espanto," I told our driver. In an instant, our driver drove to the Espanto's. I sighed. Makikita ko na naman si Darren.
But, it doesn't matter to me anymore. Mas mahalaga yung safety namin.

To: DadaAre all of you guys, okay? I'm worried now.
The time I replied, my dad called. "Dada, how are you, guys?" I asked, worriedly. "Okay lang naman kami dito. Wala na yung apoy pero, hindi pa rin safe dito. Yung mga important na mga gamit nyo, nasalba. Some of your clothes were burnt pero, mostly aren't. Don't you worry, we're on our way," my dad told me.
I sighed in relief. Good thing, they were all safe and sound. "Da, saan tayo matutulog?" I asked worriedly. Then, I heard my dad laughed. This is the trait that I love from my dad. Even though an unexpected tragedy happened, he'd still laugh.
"Tumawag yung tito Lyndon mo, dun daw muna tayo sa bahay nila hangga't hindi naaayos yung bahay," he said. I smiled and then, I realized what my dad had said. We're going to stay there? Until our house is fixed? Nooooo. Just no! "Paano po sina tito George tsaka sina tita Fina?" I asked, worried.
"Nandun sila sa family ng tito George mo sa may Quirino. Sige na, anak. Papunta na kami dyan," my dad said, hanging the phone up. I looked at the window, seeing that we're already here. I mentally face palmed. I have to see Darren, again.
Darren's POV
"Darren! Darren, ayusin mo yung kwarto mo, mags-share kayo ng kwarto ni Lygienel," dad shouted from the living room. My eyes grew wide. Lygienel and I will going to share a room? No way!
"Papa, bakit po?" I shouted back, running down the stairs. I almost stumbled and fall. I hold onto the railings of the stairs to keep my balance, seeing the Lim downstairs. There was kuya Rhed, tito Niel, tita Laida, baby Marlo and of course, Lygienel.
That was so embarrassing, I almost stumble and fall.
"Hi po, tita, tito. Hi din kuya Rhed, hi baby Marlo. Hello.. Lygienel," I greeted all of them. When I was about to greet Lygienel, I turned so shy. "Halika dito, 'nak," tita Laida motioned me to come to her. I can feel my breath hitch. I'm nervous. What's happening?
"Alam mo kasi, Darren. Nasunugan kami. And your dad insisted us to stay here for a while habang hindi pa nagagawa yung bahay namin," tita Laida explained to me. I smiled and nodded at her. "Naiintindihan ko po, tita. And, willing po ako na patuluyin kayo dito. Anytime you like po," I told them.
"Oh Darren, naayos mo na ba yung kwarto mo, ha? Samahan mo na nga din si Lygienel sa kwarto mo," my dad said, pulling Lygienel towards me.
"So I'm going to be stuck with you, huh?" she asked as we went upstairs. I just nodded at her. When we entered my room, I can see that she was amazed. I looked away and smiled.
My room was nothing but ordinary. Posters were on the walls and some of Lygienel and I's pictures. As she roam around the room then, she saw our picture. She looked back at me. "You haven't moved on, have you?" she asked me. I looked down at the floor and simply nodded.
