There's no soul left,
Within the walls of that house.
It's full,
Yet it's empty,
All the same. Those walls once held the laughter,
Of children playing,
Children being happy.
The house held the voices,
Of my siblings talking,
With their wonderful grandparents. Then, we lost one,
That was almost ten years in the past,
And over two months have passed,
Since I saw the last soul,
That the house held. Her chair is lonely,
The dogs miss her dearly,
And the house can't forget,
What happiness it once contained. We miss the souls,
That the dear house once loved.
We've memories we can't forget,
And two lost lives,
Two once lively lovers,
That are no longer far apart.
