The Prince of Lies [Loki Fanfiction][Reboot of Fire and Frost]

Part 2, Chapter 1: Back at S.H.I.E.L.D/The Gala

    I awoke to see tubes and needles attached to me, my chest hurt and felt heavy as i remembered what had happened before i ended up here.  I closed my eyes and saw fashbacks of loki and thor , then odin holding them both stopping them from certain death and then.... loki let go. Tears poured from my eyes and i screamed, doctors poured into the room surrounding me telling me to calm down, "let go of me now!" i screamed, flames engulfed me and burned the needles, tubes and the doctors off of me. I stood in the middle of the room in my outfit loki had made for me, i looked at my hand at a fragment that came off of lokis armor as we were separated, i balled my fist and placed it in my pocket. I walked out of the room, my mind swirling, my body dizzy, i looked around and knew where i was, i was in the Helicarrier. I sighed annoyed and walked down the hall after gaining my composure, i walked into the hallway and stopped when i saw clint and natasha. 

Clint approached me and held me close, "where have you been! i've called you and looked for you for months now!!!!", I looked at him confused, "i've only been gone for 3 days.......", natasha spoke up, "no you have been missing for 3 months since the explosion in New Mexico..... we thought you were dead and then boom you fall through earths atmosphere and into the ground outside of Saratoga Falls......what happened....". I frowned and walked away from them, "you wouldn't understand......" i walked into the hangar and flipped the switch, the floor in front of me opened and i heard clint yell, "what are you doing! you'll kill yourself". I smiled, "i already have......." i jumped and flew through the air and landed on the ground with ease. I teleported home and sighed as i walked in, i looked at the bright happy colors and glared at them, I tore the pictures off the wall of my family and ripped up the curtains. I broke everything that gave me a happy feeling, after awhile i stopped and fell to the ground and cried, i then disconnected my phone, computer and only left the tv connected, I didn't want to speak to anyone.

 Time passed....a week turned into a month and a month...turned into a year....I have received thousands of emails and voice messages over the year and all i ignored. All i thought about was loki and our final moments together, i had sat in darkness for so long my skin was almost transparent, my hair messy and eyes bloodshot and dead looking. sometimes i thought i had senced loki near, but i shook it off knowing it was impossible, even at night i thought i could feel his embrace to just wake up the next day dissapointed.

January 26th 2012

It was the eve of my 21st birthday, i sat in my apartment only getting up to eat alittle and shower whenever i felt like it, i then heard a loud knock on my door, i growled and yelled, "FUCK OFF! I'M NOT TAKING VISITORS!". "lillian.... its phil....look we need you theres a emergency....we need you....we figured this case would be suitable for you......" he said as he picked the lock to my door, he entered and i glared at him, "i said no visitors phil.....". "i know but you know how iam...i don't listen very well anyway we need you for this....." he said as he handed me the Avengers Initiative Folder, i looked at him, "when did nick issue the avengers initiative? he said we needed more time to prepare it.....". "i know but this is urgent.......theres a threat and we need you to help us get rid of it......" he said calmly, "what is it ano-" i stopped as i saw a picture of loki, his skin pale and sickly looking, his hair slicked back but longer, his outfit totally different than what i knew him to wear and he was holding a different staff. My heart skipped, and i looked at phil, "fine... i'll do it....." i said as i stood up and surrounded myself in flames, i changed into my asgardian armor and my hair straightened and my eyes turned normal. "well.... are we going?" i asked impatiently, he nodded and we walked out, "where are we going...." i asked as i got int he car with him, "we have a source that told us he is going to a gala in germany to accuire Iridium.......you know he has your brother and erik......" i looked at him, "what.....", he nodded and spoke,"after he aquired the Tezzeret from Nick he took control of Clint and Erik....". I sighed and looked distraught, but in reality i didn't care, i had only one focus, "what time will the gala begin?" i asked phil, "in a hour....you better get ready...." he said smiling. I teleported to germany where i senced the iridium, i glowed and changed into a black corseted evening gown and my hair was flowing behind me as i entered the event. i mengled with the guests and acted casual, "Wann wird der Lautsprecher dann kommen? Ich bin sehr aufgeregt über seine Rede ..." i said as i spoke with an elderly woman. I stopped as i heard the orchestra play and saw the speaker come out, i smiled and waited patiently, everyone gathered around him and i listened in while watching the crowd. 

I senced him finally for the first time in a year, i turned and saw him in his black suit, green scarf and holding his cane as he decended the stairs. He quickly cut through the crowd and slammed the speaker onto the table and pulled out a eye scanner, i reconized it from Clint, it was one of his favorite tools. Everyone ran in a frenzy and i stood there looking at him, ignoring the fact people here rushing past me, he watched the crowd as they ran and he grinned, i came to my sences and he then pulled out the device as i ran with the crowd out of the door. I stopped as me multiplied around the crowd and slammed the staff down, a blue light flashed and he yelled, "KNEEL!". I knelt with the crowd and he smiled and laughed, i looked up at him and he was in his armor. "Isn't this easier.....isn't this your natural state?" he said as he walked through the crowd and past me, i smiled and listen to the last words of his speech, "and you will always kneel.....". I stood slowly and kept my head down, and my hair over my face, "how dare you.... i told you to KNEEL!" he yelled as he turned to me, I smiled and turned to him, "is that how you talk to me after all this time....." i said smiling at him. He grinned evilly and walked towards me, "Well...look who it is...... My dearest lillian...... i wondered when i would see you again.....". I smiled and then changed into my armor, "what did you think i was dead...." i said, he grinned, "no..... i watched you..... over all this time.... why do you think you would feel me sometimes....in the night....i was there.... unable to tell you....i watched you break...and i enjoyed every second of it....." he said as he kissed me roughly. When we broke away i sighed and grinned, "oh how i've missed that.....". "oh i know....." he said laughing but it wasn't a warm laugh like i used to know from him, it was cold and forced. i looked into his eyes, lifeless, cold and unemotional, the samething i saw in the vortex. "Hey let the girl go" i heard a familiar voice shout from behind us, loki looked back and saw Steve Rodgers (Captian America), "you know the last time i came here there was a man standing about people and we didn't get along very well........" he said as he threw his sheild at loki. I flared up and shot fire at him, as loki deflected the shield,  he dodged it and went after loki, as loki fought steve i heard a mini helicarrier, "Loki drop the staff and surrender now!" i heard natasha say as she lowered the guns. I glared at her and shot at her, then AC/DC 'Shoot to thrill' began to play. I rolled my eyes, 'tony.....really..." i said as he landed in front of me, "you show off alittle too much you know that...." i said to him. "oh yeah...i know and im damn good at it......" he said before flying in front of loki, he shot the staff from loki's hands and steve knocked him to the ground, "whats your play now?" tony said as he pointed his gun at loki. Loki put his hands up and changed out of his armor, i looked at loki confused, fully knowing what he is capable of, he loked over and winked at me as he was put in the back of the mini helicarrier with his hands bound and a muzzle over his mouth. 

I sighed as i sat in the conference room with natasha, i was back in my normal S.H.I.E.L.D uniform and listening to natasha give me a HUGE lecture on loki and me taking his side. "i don't care natasha..... he is the reason i stayed at home for a year and 3 months......i fell in love with him and thought i had lost him.....you don't understand that pain and you never will!" i yelled at her. "WHAT ABOUT CLINT! DID YOU FORGET HIM! HE HAD BEEN WAITING FOR YOU FOR A YEAR! NO PHONE CALLS NOT EMAILS NOTHING FROM YOU! AND YOU DON'T CARE!" she yelled, i looked at her and stood up, "no i don't....not anymore........he isn't my brother anyway...". She cried, "what happened to you.....", i smiled and sat back down quietly. She stormed out and i laughed, i looked over and saw men leading loki in to the containment room they had make for bruce, loki looked at me and grin on his face. I smiled and looked down, i knew there was nothing i could do for now, i'd just have to wait for his sign.
