I was so pissed when I was writing this...
Also, don't tell me I spelt little sister wrong. I just don't have a keyboard with the little doohickey on top. Sorry.
Sat 20 December
I can't decide whether today was a good day or not. It was truly a beautiful day, even though the forecast said snow. Not a speck of snow in the air. Not even a cloud. How could they get their prediction so bad? I will never know. But. Senpai's hiding something from me, but we had such a wonderful day. The whole time I felt like I was flying, soaring right above the streets with Senpai by my side. I should tell you all about it. You know about past events, right? With the guy? And Uekiya. Oh god, that was an awkward conversation. The whole funeral thing, oh it's just awkward. Too awkward.
But the rest of the day, nearly, was amazing. I hardly got any sleep, as I knew that this day was coming, and I planned to wake up at six to get ready, but I woke at three. In the morning. But I wasn't tired. I had Senpai to keep me company. We were going Christmas shopping. Like a perfect couple.
We bought all sorts of stuff, some of it useless, some of it actually had a point. Like the few Christmas presents that we bought. Like the hair stuff for Hanako, or the phone accessories for Midori. Just average stuff. I'm not telling Senpai what I got him. He won't tell, so I won't. Not until he opens it. But then he would already know what it is, so it kinda makes telling him pointless. Ah well. I guess I won't bother.
All of that 'should I tell him' rubbish was floating around my head when Senpai's phone began ringing. I should tell him to get a Saikou Corp phone. All he has is a Samsung. He picked up the phone, and he began to speak.
"Hanako? Oh, yeah. Oh, it's not like she wants to eat my food. You know th-"
I interrupted. "No... no.... Senpai I would love to eat your food! I have my own as well, so if it tastes horrid - which I'm sure it won't - I can always eat that!" He looked at me as if weighing out his options. Face a sad and possibly girlfriend plus an annoyed sister, or stay with the girlfriend, give her some 'acquired taste' food but kept his imouto happy. He seemed to choose the later. "OK Hanako, I'll take her this park of yours. Where is it again?" He looked to me as if he was asking for conformation. Are you sure you wanna go? I nodded my head so hard I felt like it was about to fall off. "She says it's OK. Yeah, she's here. Are you sure? Really? You promise that you won't embarrass her or me? Fine..."
He handed the phone to me.
"Hey Ayano!" Her voice flooded through my ear canal, as if she was right next to me. "Can I ask you something?"
"Yeah, yeah sure!" Senpai chewed on his lip, obviously worried. "What is it?"
"It's a favor... Can you look after my brother for me? I've been a bit worried about him... He's been spending a lot of time with this girl lately... I think it's Saki? Yeah the one with the blue pigtails. That's it. Thanks!" She hung up, leaving me positively confused.
"Uh... Taro?"
"Did she hang up again? Don't worry, she always does that."
That was it for the weirdness of the day though. Senpai took me to this beautiful wildlife reserve, full of rolling fields full of grass as green as emeralds, sparkled as much as diamonds.
I must buy Senpai a new gift though.
Cooking classes.
His food really is despicable.
