"What I just heard is it true, Camilla?", Clara asked in a low and quiet tone.

"I...uhn...eh...."

"Stop stuttering and tell me what is going on here!" Clara snapped given Camilla a cold glare.

"I....I'm..sorry...I never told you about...my..past...I.." Camilla stuttered more in a croaked voice.

Clara gasp and stared at her friend in shock. "So its true you abandoned your three years old child and flew with another man?", she asked again looking at Camilla.

Camilla nodded and bowed her head in shame.

"That's so heartless of you. How could you do that to such an innocent child?", Clara asked staring at her friend in disappointment. No response came from Camilla.

"Wait. Did you had a child before I first met you at Dubai?", Clara asked again.

Camilla gave a nervous nod.

"I don't get you Camilla. Is it that you left your own child and husband and went after that man I saw you with at the airport in Dubai?", Clara asked looking confused.

"Yes! I did! You can't blame me." Camilla barked out avoiding their gaze.

Clara gasp in surprise at Camilla's response. Jasmine raised a brow in shock at those words of her mum. While Raymond just stood there in a twitched jaw his eyes bored on Camilla.

"Who is to be blame then? Your three years old child, or your husband?", Clara asked breaking the awkward silence.

"No one! Maybe its my fault. I was after a cozy home,a wealthy lifestyle and....."

"So dad was right after all." Jasmine interrupted Camilla with a sad face. She dropped her hand from her chest to her side and clenched her fist in anger ready to attack at any time. But Ray placed his hand on hers and rubbed it to calm her down.

"Dad? What dad?", Clara asked staring at Jasmine confusedly.

Camilla glance at Jasmine and gave her a pleaded look for her not to say a word about it.

"C'mon,go ahead and tell her who I am to you." Jasmine said eyeing her back.

Clara gaze left Jasmine's and was now back at Camilla waiting for her to speak.

Camilla open her mouth to speak, but those words were so hard to come out of it. She tried to speak again but it was as if her voice has been taken away from her.

"Since its too hard for you to say it,I'll help you out", Jasmine said glaring at her while Camilla was in a gape staring back at his daughter.

"Babe,I don't think its right for you to be the one to say it. Give her the chance to be bold enough to say it." Raymond whisper to Jasmine.

"But she doesn't wants to. So let me make it easier for her instead", Jasmine replied with a scowl.

"I'm getting tired with all this. I need answers to my question now. Who was the child you....."

"I was the child she abandoned 21years ago with my father." Jasmine answered with hurt flashing through her eyes even before Clara would complete her sentence.

Clara was stunned with a gape. She clasp her hand to her mouth with wide eyes.

Silence! There was a deafening silence. It was a staring contest between Camilla and her daughter. She felt disappointed but felt better also for her daughter to have exposed her to her friend. 'What would become of me now?'she thought.
