Marissa "Missy" Milkovich was the daughter Terry never acknowledged and forgot he had most of the time because she wasn't in his life for a few years. Once her mother got sick, she removed Missy from his care and placed her with her mother. However, nine years ago, her grandmother placed her back in her fathers care once her mother died in hopes of them forming a relationship and becoming a family again. Terry barely noticed she was there and Mandy was her primary caregiver, everything appeared to be going okay but in the Milkovich household, nobody's safe. With the constant police raids, random people coming in and out and the abuse of people and substances, it was only a matter of time before social services intervened.
When she was five, she was removed from the Milkovich household and was placed in care of Kevin Ball and Veronica Fisher. It was a house full of love but she refused to be adopted by them, she knew all too well that she was a Milkovich and had frequent contact with Mandy and occasionally Mickey.
While living in the Fisher-Ball household, it was inevitable that she'd become well-acquainted with the Gallagher's, more specifically with Carl. They were the same age, born two days apart and he'd caught her eye many years ago, of course she'd never tell him though, it would ruin the friendship. While she was friendly with Debbie, she'd never call her a friend, Carl was her best friend, but she'd never tell him that either because the pair had a running joke that they weren't friends and disliked eachother.
Occasionally, Terry got out of jail and would attempt to win back custody of her but it was a loosing battle every-time and she knew this all too well. He was the worlds worst father and the entire population of the South Side knew. He was an abuser who tortured his children, it was what made Missy being a foster child a relief to her older sister, it was one less person to worry about. She was lucky in the sense that she had three families but had been through a lot with them all, however, she wouldn't change it for the world.

I wrote this story in 2018 and after looking back on it, it definitely needs some renovating. The story begins in season 4 but the storylines aren't fully based on this season and I've used some other random storylines from other seasons
