Mike had offered to walk her home a million times so she let him, Carl was with them too but Mike didn't trust Carl to protect her, he didn't trust Carl at all. She was drenched and shivering, all she wanted was to go home but it was all worth it. They were all basking in her mini victory until they realised Mandy was walking down the street and had spotted them. "Good day at the pool ?" her sister asked through a smile as Carl and Mike looked at each other, they didn't know how to tell her, Mandy hadn't been around the past few days. "Something wrong ?" she asked, there was anxiety in her voice and she was ready to hurt whatever ruined her sisters day. Once she realised nobody was talking she sent Carl and Mike to walk ahead.

"Can I explain at the house ?" Missy asked instantly as her sister nodded and wrapped her arms around her as they walked. "Is it bad ?" Mandy asked as the girl sighed. "I just don't know where to start" she whispered, she was drained, both physically and emotionally, she was kicking the rocks on the street as she walked. "I know it's a family thing, the boys are all walking on eggshells with each other" she began but they were interrupted by a voice. "Aunt Missy" it shouted in the distance, she knew who it belonged to and wanted to avoid it. "Aunt Missy" it kept repeating until it caught up to her and started panting, they'd been running awhile to catch up to her. "I'm not your fucking aunt Chucky" she spat; the name Chucky was familiar to Mandy so she was ready to tell him to fuck off, it wasn't until she heard what he had to say that she realised she had no intentions of doing it. "But you're having my niece or nephew so that makes you my aunt" he said as her heart sunk, she wanted to be the one to tell Mandy but word was already travelling fast. "What" Mandy whispered as the Missy shrieked. "Go home Chucky" she shouted before storming off, leaving the pair of them there.

"What's he talking about Missy ?" Mandy shouted from a safe distance behind her. "I don't know" she lied as Mandy started running so she was next to her. "Pregnant ?" she asked, in shock as the girl nodded. "Whose baby ? Mike ?" she asked again, half expecting it to be him since he was so close with the family. "Did you not hear him, it's his niece of nephew so it's obviously Carl" she shouted with tears pouring out of her eyes as Mandy's whole face dropped. "Wasn't-wasn't that done ?" the girl was in shock but had been in Missy's position a few too many times. Missy shook her head and let the tears fall so Mandy walked towards her and wrapped her in a tight hug. "It's alright, it's okay, I've got you. You have options sweetheart. It's all going to be okay" she whispered while pressing a kiss on her sisters forehead. In Mandy's head, she had to be Missy's mother now since theirs wasn't with them.

Meanwhile, Carl and Mike were walking to the Gallagher house so Carl could change. There was so much tension, all Mike wanted to do was punch him in the face, Carl just wanted to make up with him for Missy's sake. "Hey, do you think you could do me a favour ?" Carl asked but Mike sent him a death glare, he had no intentions of doing any favours for him. "It's not for me, well it is, but it's to do with Missy" he began so Mike looked at him, ready to hear it. "If I'm not there and something like this happens again-" Carl began but Mike interrupted him with a scoff. "You weren't much help to her anyway, you never were. You don't even need to ask me to be there because I will anyway. I'm not expecting you to stick around for too long, she'll go into the labour ward and be gone for a day or two and she'll come back to you with a new girlfriend" he said blankly as Carl looked at him taken aback. "What's that supposed to mean ?" he asked, annoyed as Mike smirked. "It means you don't deserve her and never did. Every time she's gone you replace her. I'm already ready to pick up the pieces. Now I'm going back to the pool to do what you should've done to Jett Fox" he said before walking off, leaving Carl in shock as he got to the front steps of his house.

Holly was sitting on the steps waiting for him with a smirk. "Hi daddy" she said while biting her lip, his first instinct was to look around to see if Mike was gone because he would've had a field day with this but thankfully he was. "Don't call me that" he said bitterly as she stood up. "It's what you're going to be ? Isn't it ? A daddy but you can't be too sure that it's yours, can you ?" she said, getting closer and closer to him as he raised an eyebrow. "Missy sleeps around" she whispered, trying to get into his head as he shook his head. "No she fucking doesn't" he spat, trying to get passed her but she shook her head. "I know you want me Carl. You can't fake the chemistry we had that summer" she whispered as he sighed. "You're doing this to get at Missy for kissing Freddie all these years ago" he said annoyed as Holly nodded. "What about you ? Were you trying to get back at Missy when you found out she was dead and came  straight to my house. You can't fake that chemistry either" the girl whispered as his face went white, that was a mistake, a big mistake. "You said no one would find out" he said, afraid as she nodded. "They won't and I'm trying to save you. She's a fucking psychopath, people aren't walking out of her life Carl. They're fucking running. She'll ruin a guy like you" she said as Carl pushed passed her and walked up to his house so he could change.

He arrived at the Milkovich house to see a police car parked outside the house. He instantly ran up the steps and into the house to see Terry shouting at a police officer who was holding Mike. Missy was begging a man to not take him while Mandy was pulling her back and Mickey was sitting in an armchair, watching it play out.

"So Michael Groven has been in your care ?" he heard a bearded man ask a Terry who shrugged, he was drunk and Missy knew they had no hope. "He has, we've been taking care of him" Missy answered for him, she stood in-front of her father who immediately ripped her out of the way.

"How about you get the fuck out of my house and stop asking questions" Terry shouted as the reds man and police officer looked blankly at him. "Has Michael Groven been in your care ? Let your father answer" the man repeated slowly as Terry shrugged, he honestly didn't know. "Mister Milkovich, is that a yes or a no ?" he asked to which Terry shrugged again, the man asked if he was drunk so Terry punched him in the face. The officer let Mike go and carried Terry out of the house to be brought back to jail.

"This isn't the first time you've run away from a home Michael, you do it every time you're in one" the bearded man who they found out to be Mike's social worker, Paul said, he sounded defeated. "It was never a problem before, you never cared where I was" Mike said unamused as Paul fixed his glasses and let out a loud sigh. "Michael, you're not the only child I have to worry about. I'm never informed of where you are until you've created some sort of problem. I was under the impression that you were in the home I put you in. You promised me if I moved you, you'd stay there but it's never enough for you, no matter what I do, you resort to sleeping rough. Lighting your last home on fire though, what if someone was inside it ?" he shouted as Mike stepped back, this man was unpacking a lot. "Then they shouldn't have been talking about my dad" he roared as Paul put his head in his hands.

"I'm sending you to a more secure home, one that'll help this behaviour problem" he said, keeping his eyes on the clipboard as Mickey stood up. "Where is it ?" he asked, they couldn't figure out if he was angry or upset.

"It's in Pennsylvania. It'll keep you out of trouble. They're strict" Paul said, clearly not wanting to do it but not having a choice. They all saw tears in Mike's eyes for the first time ever. "No" he whispered while biting his cheek as his social worker sighed.

"You're just seventeen, you'll have one more year in there and then you're free to do whatever you like. This is in your best interest" he said as Mike shook his head. "I'll find a way back. These people are my family" Mike said annoyed as Paul took a tissue from his sleeve and began wiping the blood that had began pouring from his nose again. "I got a bus from New York to Ohio, didn't I ? because I had family there, well people I thought were family" he whispered as Paul shrugged. "Get your things Michael" he said trying to be serious as Mike picked up a backpack and shrugged.

Missy had been sitting on the floor in shock so she stood up. She looked slightly homeless, she was wearing one of Carl's hoodies with the hood up and a pair of Mandy's old yoga pants she found in a drawer. "Mike" she whispered once the fate of the situation sunk in, the tears were pouring down her face for the second time that day. "Missy" he said, his voice cracked trying to hold back tears and they ran towards each-other and hugged each-other as tight as they could. "Come on Michael" Paul said but Mickey stopped him. "You'll let him say goodbye to her" her brother ordered so he backed down.

"You never told me it was your birthday ? When was it" she whispered as he wiped the tears falling from her eyes. "The day you found out about the baby. You had way bigger things to worry about. You'll be the best mother in the world. I don't doubt it. I just wish I was here to see it" he whispered as she began to cry even harder. "Pennsylvania, that's far" she whispered as he nodded and held her even tighter, it wasn't possible but he found a way. "Ill find my way back" he said as Paul told him they really needed to go. "Please don't go" she said, clinging onto his arm as he shook his head. "If I had the choice I wouldn't be, you were my first real friend. You always will be my best friend" he whispered as Mickey pulled her off him and she lay on the couch. "Look after me, if I find out you fucked her over before or after this kid, so help me" Mike said while tapping him on the shoulder. He thanked Mickey for everything and left, never to be seen again.
