chap 10 ; awake

"will she be okay?" someone asked. i think it was my mom.

where the hell am i? the last thing i remembered is everything going black.

i tried opening my eyes, but it didn't work. it's like my eyes are glued shut.

"yes mrs. peter, kayla is alright. but she is in a coma" another person said, but i guess he's the doctor

a coma?!

"oh my baby" i heard mom running to me and crying

i felt another hand rubbing circles on my cheeks, but i didn't know who it was.

kris' p.o.v

i opened my eyes and looked around.

the walls were white. i guess i was in a hispital room?

i tried getting up but i can't, my body was hooked to all these different kinds of machines, and my body felt sore.

"HELLO?!" i called out

doctors and nurses came in the hospital room.

"hello kris, i'm dr. grey" dr. grey introduced

i started tk freak out because i saw ither surgeons in the room with me.

"am- am i..... having surgery?" i asked

"oh no, you just have a broken arm, and you sprained an ankle, nothing to serious. and these are just interns, their here to observe" she told me

"oh, okay. um, is my friends okay?" i asked her

"well um, kris is fine, he just has a broken rib, which we were able to fix and kayla.... um, kayla.... she's in coma" she told me

kayla's in a coma?! she's in a coma because of me! she got mad because i ditched her for hannah! damn i'm so stupid! if i went with her we wouldn't be in this mess! but why was she mad? she knows what i do to girls all the time. since when did this affect her?

"oh.... can i, um, see her?" i asked dr. grey

"i'm sorry kris, your arm and your ankle is still swolen, you have to stay in bed" she told me

"can't you just put me in a wheelchair? i need to see her!" i yelled

"calm down. you can yell all you want, but we're not bringing you off that bed" dr. grey said

"can't you just bring my bef in the same room as her?" i asked

"i'm sorry. but we can't" she said

what have i done?

~ 5 days later ~

kayla is still in a coma. jacob is ignoring me and blaming me for all if this, when he was the one not paying attention to the road. my parents went on a buisness trip before the accident. kayla's parents offered me to stay at their house while my parents were gone, which i took.

we're now driving to the hospital to see kayla.

once we arrived at the hospital, i was the first one to walk to her room.

before i could walk any further, kayla was awake...
