"KAYLA!!" i screamed and ran to her.
once i reached her, i gave her a big hug.
"um, hi.." she said awkwardly
"kayla.... i'm soo sorry, i didn't mean for any of this to happen" i told her
she didn't say anything, she just started at me with no facial expression
"KAYLA! oh sweetie we missed you so much. how are you feeling?" kayla's mom said and hugged her
"hey sweetie, you okay?" her dad asked and he smiled
"kayla!!! oh my god. i'm soo sorry i wasn't paying attention to the road" jacob said and held her hand
she stayed quiet the whole time....
"kayla... why aren't you talking?" i asked
she still didn't say anything
"ahh, i see kayla has woke up" someone said behind us
we all jumped up a little bit, amd turned our body to face a doctor.
"hi, i'm dr. kepner" dr. kepner introduced
"hello dr. kepner. is, um kayla. going to be okay?" kayla's mom asked
"yeah, her vitals are stable, and everything seems perfect. but she is gonna have to take some medication for 3 weeks" she told us
"oh, okay. when is she able to come home?" she asked again
"if everything else seems fine, then she will be able to go home this afternoon" dr. kepner said with a smile and walked out the door
"hey sweetie. are you feeling okay?" kayla's dad asked
"i'm sorry.. but who are you people?" she asked confused
"what do you mean? we're your family" kayla's mom told her
"i'm sorry, i um... i don't remember" she said and looked down
"please don't forget me kayla.... please..." i whispered/mumbled to myself
