🔘Chapter Twenty-Seven🔘

(A/N: big time skip ahead.)

~5 years later~
It's 8:15 when I finally walk out the door to The Nook Cafe. The cafe closed 15 minutes ago but since I worked the closing shift I had to sweep the floor, take out the trash and lock the money in the safe. I start to head home to Tae's apartment which we share. After 6 months past and the actual graduation day came Tae asked me to move into his apartment with him. I wanted to but what would I do for my apartment. 2 years later Callie came back from Korea and needed a place to stay, I gave her my old apartment and with the help of Namjoon it is now officially hers. About a year after I moved in with Tae I found out that the band called BTS that I never see just listen to their songs is nun other than Tae and his band. I was a little hurt that he didn't tell me that his band was the famous South Korean boy band Bangtan. Once he explained why he had to refrain from telling me I understood. I still tease him about it though. I have to be careful where we go out together cause they've gone on their American tour and all of America now knows that he is Kim Taehyung a boy from BTS. My mother died about a week after that day I seen her in the hospital, she told the nurses and doctors to have me notified when she died. I had just gotten home from work one day and got a call from the hospital. They told me that she died in her sleep after being injected with some powerful pain medication. She died peacefully. I didn't want a funeral, no body would come. I told them that we weren't close and that I don't plan on a funeral. To do what they wanted and then I hung up. I haven't got a call since. I live at peace, I do online college now so I can work in schooling around my work schedule and around Tae's schedule. Callie comes over quite a lot and I think something romantic going on between her and J-Hope. They're both happy people and seem to get along great.

Once I get home I'm surprised when all the lights are off. I go to switch one on and am startled when all of Bangtan, Callie, her parents and our other neighbors all jump out from behind things.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAYLEE!!!!!!" They all yell. I didn't have anything planned for tonight just maybe watch a movie or two and cuddle together that's it. I'm turning 24 years old nothing to spectacular. I still smiling ear to ear when Callie and Sheron come out of the kitchen with a huge ass cake in their hands. Everyone starts to sing happy birthday to me. While I stand there smiling like a dork. After they're done Callie looks directly at me.
"Blow out the candles and make a wish." She says and I smile and look around at everyone. I blow out the candles and smile.
"What did you wish for?" Tae asks from where he stood next to me.
"I wish for everything to stay just like this. Having my life just the way I want it." I smile and everyone claps. Once the cake is sat down I am pulled over to the couch by Yoongi. He starts to hand me presents.
"Time to open these." He says with his gummy smile. I chuckle and start to open the one he handed me. I open present after present until I've opened all of them. After that we have cake and once the celebration has settled down people start to leave. Our neighbors go back to their apartments and the rest of Bangtan leave to go to their apartments. Callie's parents are going on another trip and will be gone the next day so they make sure to hug me real tight and tell me, Tae and Callie that if any of us needs anything just to call and they'll be back in a heart beat. I thank them and see them out. Callie hugs me and wishes me happy birthday once again and leaves to walk down the hall to her apartment. That only leads me and Tae left. He smiles at me and hugs me.
"You're sneaky." I say as he wraps his arms around my waist.
"How so?" He asked flashing me his adorable box smile.
"You planed all of this didn't you?" I ask and he smiles even wider.
"Maybe." He says and kisses me on the lips. He pulls back and grabs my hands.
"I haven't given you my present." He says and I lift an eyebrow.
"Is it what I think it is." I say and wiggle my eyebrows at him. He laughs and shakes his head.
"No that part comes later. This is the first part." He says as he leads me to his balcony. Once out there he tells me to close my eyes and stand as still as possible. I do as he says. He shifts around a little bit and then he's still.
"Open your eyes." He says and when I do I see him down on one knee with a box in his hand with the most beautiful engagement ring I've ever seen. I gasp and smile.
"Haylee Jameson, will you make me the most happiest man in the world and marry me?" He asks and I start crying. I nod my head vigorously.
"Y-yes!" I holler out and he slips the ring on my figure. I look at it and smile so big. I hug him and kiss all over kid face.
"I love you. I love you. I love you." I repeat over and over as he laughs. He puts his hands on my waist and looks me in the eyes.
"Baby you don't need to tell me. I already know." He says and kisses me deeply. He breaks the kiss and I see that his eyes have darkened which makes my stomach do a flip.
"How about I show you what part 2 of your birthday gift is." He says and pulls me off the balcony. He walks backward all the way into our shared bedroom.
"Happy Birthday baby. Let me show you just how much you mean to me." He says and a shiver runs through my entire body.
"Show me baby." I say and that's the breaking point. He attacks and his lips are on mine as he lays me down on the bed.
