🔘Chapter Eleven🔘

I wake up the next morning and get ready for school. I grab my backpack, phone and earbuds from the couch. I lock my door and head to the elevator. I hear running footsteps coming from behind me and I turn to see Taehyung running towards me. He's smiling a big grin at me.
"Good morning." He says while he stops and waits beside me.
"Good morning." I say back smiling at him.
"Off to another day of high school I see." He says.
"Yep. Your in a good mood. What's the cause of this?" I ask.
"I don't know maybe I look forward to meeting my good friend." He says
"And who would this go friend be?" I ask eyeing his suspiciously.
"Well she has your height, hair color, eye color, personality, and sass. Oh and would you believe she looks just like you." He says laughing. I laugh at him as he explains this.
"Well I would love to meet this friend of yours that looks just like me." I say and he laughs and casually puts his arm around my shoulders as we walk into the elevator. I freeze not know me what to do. He continues to walk into the elevator, his arm falling off of me in the process. He turns around and gives me a concerned look.
"Are you okay Haylee?" He asks.
"Umm, yeah. It's just..." I hesitated. This is silly.
"What?" He asks grabbing onto my arm to pull me into the elevator and he pressed the button to the lobby.
"Nothing. Don't worry it was nothing." I said taking a step back from him.
"Is it because I put my arm around you. I'm sorry about that. I don't know what I did that. I'm an idiot." He said while rubbing the back of his neck.
"It's okay. It just felt weird. Not many people in my life have shown me affection. And I don't think anyone has ever but their arm around me like that before." I said staring at the ground. Tae took a step forward and lifted my chin to look at him. I look right in his eyes.
"Haylee, this might he a jerk move but... what happened before you moved here that has you so down sometimes. It has to be some thing awful because I can see it in your eyes." My heart thumps hard in my chest. He's so close. Okay, deep breath, calm down. I mentally calm myself as the doors open and he walks out. Taehyung turns around and waves me to follow him.
"If you don't want to answer me than you don't have to." He said as we both walk out the building. Waving bye to Namjoon.
"I don't want to right now. Maybe someday but not today. It's hard for me to talk about." Part of me feels okay with telling him what happened but the other part doesn't want to not only think about it but talking about isn't an option either.
"That's perfectly okay. I don't want to pressure you into telling me something your not ready to tell." He said smiling at me. Who the fuck is this?!?!? Just a day or two ago he was coming off as this rude, stubborn, hot guy who it seemed didn't like to be messed with. But now he's still hot but he's also being nice and understanding. I don't get it! Is he bipolar??

We say goodbye and I walk the rest of the way to school. I wonder what Taehyung does the whole day, he's never mentioned a job before. I get a message and pull out my phone to check it. It was from Callie, apparently they cleared her so she could use her phone. It's costing her a few dollars extra to be able to text and call across seas.

Callie:
Heyyyyy girllllll!!!!! OMG they finally approved of me using my phone. It'll cost me more money per month though. That's okay cause now I can call and text you and my family... Oh what am I saying you are my fam. Lol your my sister from another mister. I miss you sooooooo much!!!!! There's so much to tell you. I really wish you could've come with me. Sooooooo how's school??? Tell me everything even the boring parts. I wanna know. Oh yeah remember my roommate, well she has a boyfriend now and he doesn't speak English at all and he's always here. It's annoying, I'm mean don't get me wrong he's hot and all but I have no clue what he says to me when he's here. Other than hello. Dara has to translate and she tells him that I don't speak Korean but he still speaks to me every time. He was here yesterday and she wasn't. It was so freaking awkward!!!! I had to use google translate and he laughed cause it started translating stuff wrong. We both had a good laugh but Dara came back and got the wrong idea. I had to explain to her what was happening. She speaks really fast Korean when she's mad even her boyfriend gets confused. Well I'm going on and on about me. Tell me about you. Idk what time it is there so please text me back when you get this. Love you girl!!!!! BTW its Wednesday at 8:45pm here.

Heyyy OMG your long winded even through text. Lol JK I'm glad that your finally got cleared to use your phone. I miss you too. I wish I could be there with you, it sounds fun. lol I think it's funny your roommates boyfriend doesn't speak English. I never trusted google translate. Only for small words. Sorry about the extra cost on your phone bill, that sucks. School here is fine. There's nothing really interesting going on right now. I meet this boy that lives in the same apartment complex as me. His name is Taehyung and he's really hot. He speaks another language but he knows English to and has a hot asf accent. Lol he has friends and they're in a band. I've meet most of them. They're all nice. There's a 7th member that I haven't met yet. Mr. Kim says that his name is Jungkook but they call him Kookie. Lol cute nickname. Lol 😝 Tae is growing on me though. I'm really starting to like him. 😁 I just got your text btw it's Tuesday 7:46am here. Your a day and 13 hours ahead. Yes I did the math. I'm smarts. Lol and I love you too. There I think I covered everything. Lol. Talk to ya later I'm outside the school gates. Bye 👋🏻

I walked into school and was greeted by Mr. Kim by the office.
"Good morning Haylee." Mr. Kim said.
"Good morning Mr. Kim." I said as I smiled and walked past. I was getting things out of my locker when I felt my phone vibrate twice. I pulled it out and checked who it was.

TaeTae:
you wanna meet after you get out of school and grab a bite to eat? Maybe. It's okay if you don't want to.

Me:
That sounds fun. Yeah we can do that. See ya after school. 👋🏻

TaeTae:
Thank god. I was thinking you would say no.

Me:
Why would I say no?

TaeTae:
Well because I kinda made it awkward this morning in the elevator. Sorry about that again.

Me:
It's okay Tae. Really. It's in the past forget about it. Will you meet me outside the school gates?

TaeTae:
Okay okay!!! And yeah I'll meet you there. G2G text ya later. See ya after school.
