Epilogue

Grayson's POV

It has been a couple years, we did well over time, settled in, made friends, we've come far with the war, we were winning, slowly getting back country by country, the others being less of a problem more and more as we progressed

It was inevitable that we were going to pull through, the prime minister already started making plans on how to get the whole world back together, to reconstruct it and make it a new where there is no war, no fighting, a world we're meant to be

Where racism, sexism, anything like this is illegal, anything discriminating and just wrong will have a consequence, he wants to make sure something like this never happens again, where everyone can live the way they want, the right way

He's already gotten in contact with several other countries we've helped out over the years and everyone's on board, we all want the same thing, safety, to make sure our future isn't like the past

That the new generations don't face the problems we did, shootings, massacres, police brutality, discrimination for race, gender, sexual preference, war, anything

Michelle has made some new friends here, they have a daycare like facility where they teach kids anything necessary, it's mostly a place to stay while the parents are out for work, and are eventually told about the war and how it all went down for those who didn't know

I turned seventeen a few months ago, Ethan was now nineteen, we had only grew closer with our bond, Ethan officially asking me to be his two years ago

It was our anniversary today, the day we met in my old school, I remember the day so clearly, one I almost died, and two I met the love I get to call mine

Ethan has something planned tonight, we were on duty in the morning, Michelle still in school, my shift ended earlier than Ethan's, I kissed him goodbye and left to go pick up Michelle, she asked if she could stay over a friends house for the night, I said it was ok and was bringing her back home to help her pack for the night

I walked Michelle to her friends house, they were having a slumber party with several others from her class, walking back the sun was setting earlier than usual being fall and all

Climbing up the couple flights of stairs before turning into our apartment, Ethan stood there in the kitchen, sweats with a long sleeve shirt cooking something in a pot

"Hi" I murmured slightly as I wrapped my arms around his waist, giving him a little kiss on his neck before walking back to our room

"Hey, where's Michelle?" He asked as I finished slipping my shoes off, walking back over to Ethan as I asked if he needed help, nodding his head no before I answered his previous question "she went out to a sleepover with her friends"

"Could you grab two plates for me please" Ethan asked  as I walked to the cabinet, walking back to Ethan as he scooped some chicken Alfredo onto both the plates, walking back to the table as I set them down on each side, a lit candle sat in the middle alongside a vase with a small bouquet of flowers, I chuckled at the cheesiness of it all but appreciated it nonetheless

Ethan placed two garlic breadsticks on each plate then grabbing our drinks of water as we sat down and ate

After dinner followed desert, honey sandwiches, smiling at the memory of our past, sweet of him to remember

We talked about the future, what we thought of the plan and what's to come, and out future together, what we both wanted, how much we cared for each other

It all lead to us on the bed, Ethan above me as he kisses down the side of my neck, peppering me with soft, love induced, open mouthed kisses

He slid his warm hands up my shirt, caressing my chest before he pushed up with his arms, raising my shirt above my head as he threw it to the side, sliding his own off as well before he connected with mine once again in a slow kiss

Unbuttoning my jeans as he took those off as well, I pushed down what I could of his sweats, curling my toes around the hem of them as I dragged them down his legs

We both laid there in our underwear, careful not to hurt one another, gentle hands roamed our exposed skin, scared for this being our first time being this close, we were ready

Ethan curled his fingers around my underwear before pulling them down, raising my hips as they came off, taking his own off before kissing down my jaw, my stomach, around my thighs, before reaching around and under my thighs, lifting my hips up as he licked a stripe across my virgin hole, shuddering in surprise

He delved his tongue in deeper, circling the rim before going in, repeating this several times, lubricating my clenched hole as it craved for something more, dick throbbing for release

He set me back down before coming up to kiss me, his tongue swiping across my reddened lips from my teeth baring down upon them, letting me taste myself a little as his tongue passed my lips

He sucked on his two fingers before guiding them down and into my hole, stretching me out as he went deeper, slow turns going in and out, gentle strokes of the muscle inside me that roared my body to life as I moaned out in pleasure, whispers of how much he loved me filled the room

Ethan removing his slim fingers before guiding the head of his dick down with a single hand, the other coming up to hold one of mine for reassurance, letting me know he saw me for more than this, letting me know he cared and wanted me to be ok, that he was with me, forever

Third POV

It took the brink of extinction for everyone to realize what was wrong with the world, to notice that we needed to move on from these minuscule 'problems' and focus on what's really wrong, to work together, not as separated factions in the world with different classes, seeing gender and color when none of it matters, to set our opinions aside and move on

This new world will bring great things for the future, for our upcoming generations, so they can thrive and prosper with a clean slate

It was a new beginning
