In the middle of the night, instead of comfortably sleeping in her bedroom, a 15 year old girl is running along the cold and lonely street. She doesn't know where to go, she doesn't even have an exactly destination to head for.
She was just told by her mother to run and run.
Just run.
A few blocks from her house she stopped running and catches her breath. A tear fell from her eyes and she began to cry.
15 minutes ago, she just witnessed her parents killed by some thief who robbed their house.
It was unfair.
She was still shaking while breathing heavily. She was also afraid to come back in their house to check if the thief was gone and if her parents were still alive.
Yes, she was afraid. You can't blame her cause its way too shocking to just watch your parents stab to death by some devil creature person.
One last look in her back and she continued walking. She was still crying, silently.
Afraid that the thief might hear her and kill her too.
It was already dawn when she reached the city.
She was tired now, and badly needs a rest. A sleep too. Not minding those early people around her, she laid her body in the bench she saw in the side road. She quickly fell asleep as she settled herself in the small bench.
She woke up in the smell of a strong aroma. Hmm, still closed her eyes, she sat down.
She immediately opens her eyes and found herself in a very glamorous room with a motif of peach color and shades of pink. Her eyes became literary wide when she realized that this neither her bedroom nor her house.
First, the color of her room is white and she doesn't have a queen size bed and as smooth as this bed where she is sitting right now.
Right then, memories of last night are flashing to her mind.
Their house was being robbed. And her parents were already dead.
She cried upon remembering those.
God! Her father and mother were really gone. They left her.
She turned her head in the door when someone was opening it. There, an old woman enters. She just remained silent as the woman made her way towards to her.
"You're finally awake." nakangiting sambit nito and sat beside her.
"Hush, darling." the old woman wiped her tears. "Tell me, what happened to you?" by hearing it, she cried again.
"Shh, your safe here, don't worry. Tell me what happened to you first" she felt the old woman carefully caressing her cheeks.
"They killed my parents. They after me, I saw it. Please help me" tuloy tuloy niyang sambit.
"It's okay, honey. No one will hurt you while you're with me, okay? I'll protect you." the old woman cares her back. She hugged her and silently cries.
She just hopes that, it was okay. That she is safe now and no bad guys in the picture. It's terribly traumatic for a girl like her to just witness your parents died in front of you. A very terrible memory.
She hugs the woman beside her and she let herself cried.
The woman hugs her back and buried her tiny face to the woman's chest while still caressing her back. She remembered that she hasn't still know the woman's name. she slightly pull herself out of the hug and look intently to the gorgeous face of the woman.
''Who are you, by the way?''
The woman gives her a genuine smile.
''I'm Aurora Gray.''
