Today was Zella's last day in the BK, and I must admit I'm hella' sad. 

I didn't know what I was going to do without her on my side, but I know I have to be strong for her. She is really nervous because feels like she may be making a mistake. She is dropping everything for this opportunity. School, friends, all that. But I feel like she isn't making a bad decision at all. I have so much faith in her. I know she can do this. I may be sad she has to go, but I'm rooting for her. 

I'm never gonna' stop lovin' Zella. No bitch gone ride for me like she do. No bitch gone love me like she do. I am determined to make this long distance work. I don't care how long we have to do it. 

Me 

Hey. What time you coming over?

Zella 

Can I come now? 

Me

You don't even have to ask twice. 

Moments later Zella knocked on my window. I opened it up and she stumbled in with a box. 

"What's that?" I walked up to her and looked inside of the box. A small black puppy was inside. 

"Look at lil' man." I smiled. I picked it up out of the box with one hand. It licked me and I felt my heart melt a little. I love dogs. 

"It's yours." She smiled. I looked at her like "yeah right."

"No seriously who's dog is this?" I asked. 

"It's yours Jo. I wanted something to keep you warm when I'm not here." 

"Ah shit." I gave her a kiss. "Thank you baby." 

"What do you want to name him?" She asked while taking off her coat. I observed the dog. 

"I think Smokey." I said. She nodded.

"I have everything you need in this box." She started removing everything out of the box. There was puppy pads, a leash, a collar, a toy, dog food, and a small bed. 

"Damn girl. You really went all out." I chuckled. 

"This is our child." She took the dog out of my hands and cradled it. "Mama has to make sure Dad has everything so you won't die." 

"Please. Smokey is going to be in great hands. Plus all his uncles are going to help me out." 

"Speaking of uncles, don't let them niggas hurt our dog. You know y'all be playing to much." She laughed.

"I got you. We just won't leave him alone with Nyck." 

We ended up watching a movie and eventually taking a nap. Zella woke me up around 8:00 because she was hungry. We decided to go over her house and cook dinner together.
