I landed in Los Angeles around eleven in the morning. I felt super tired because of the jet lag and wanted to go to sleep, but I couldn't because I had to go straight to the agency.

After picking up my bags from baggage claim, I went out to where taxis were parked. There was a young male standing there with a sign that had my name. I walked up to him.

"Zella?" He asked. I nodded and showed him my I.D.

"Goodmorning!" He smiled. " Mr. Prescott sent me to get you."

Mr. Prescott was the man who recruited me to the agency.

"Okay." I said. We put my things in the trunk and then got in the car.

"Do you want to play music? The drive will probably take around twenty minutes because of traffic." He said while holding the aux.

"Sure." I said. I took the aux and played some of Joey's music. I smiled the moment I heard his voice. I should probably text him.

Hey. I landed and now I'm in the car on the way to the agency

"Wow. This is dope. Who is this?" The driver asked while bobbing his head.

"My boyfriend, Joey Bada$$." I took out my phone and recorded the driver vibing. I posted it on snapchat and Instagram with the caption 'Even the niggas in Cali know!'

Hey. I miss you already. Facetime me when you get out of the meeting and settled in. I love you.

I smiled at my phone and locked it. I sat my head back, listened to the music, and eventually fell asleep.

The power nap I took in the car gave me enough energy to get through the meeting. I looked in my hand held mirror before I walked in the room. I fluffed my afro puff and touched up my lip gloss.

"Hi" I smiled as I walked in the room. Mrs. Prescott and another man both stood up.

"Hello Zella. Was the flight okay?" Mr. Prescott asked.

"Yes it was great."

"This is my husband, also named Mr. Prescott." He laughed. "You can call him JP though."

"Hi sugar." JP said with a southern accent.

"Hello" I smiled.

"Okay now that we are done with greetings, it's time to get you settled in. You will be staying with one other model at a condo in Hollywood. It's three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and one half bathroom, so don't worry about not having any personal space. I know you aren't planning on living in L.A, so the goal is to get your name big as quick as possible. This means that you are going to be very busy. Any shoot we can book you for, we are doing it. Sound like a plan?" He said.

"Sounds good to me. I'm excited to take this on."

"That's the mentality you have to maintain. Your first shoot is in two days. Tomorrow we have a shopping spree, a facial, waxing, hair appointment and mani pedi scheduled. We want you to establish a look. Then we will rebuild your social medias so that they can match your look. Don't be confused. This look is still yours. We are just providing you the tools to embrace and express it."
