I Don't Recognize Myself

I am inspired by my own pain.

My grievances are of no bother to me for I see clearly through the storms.

These smiles are facades.

Don't let the eyes of the lied to fool you into believing they're fine because they're lying.

A brick wall is no face.

No trace of honesty and honestly I'm tired of feeling misery at my own hand.

Crying only adds to the shadows.

What were once bright, brown, beautiful eyes now hide in plain sight, darker than the night.

The blame is mine.

I brought this upon myself and so I must rise to help; to escape this hell I've trapped myself in.

I'm inspired by pain.

I aspire to make gains.

Growing is life and a necessity to live.

I'm inspired by my life.
