~~Your P.O.V~~

So you stay there in the lab while they worked feeling rather useless, yet enjoying their company all the same. Clint in the room below amongst old boxes and equipment attempting to locate Nat, you can feel Loki's eyes on you from across the room as his head raises from the sheets he's going over. Trying to find anything more on the mind stone, you should be reading those in your own hand but keep getting distracted by the different commotions taking place throughout the room.

"This framework is not compatible." Tony voice states from his place near Bruce and the case, tearing your attention from the papers at again.

"The genetic coding tower's at ninety-seven percent. You've go to upload that schematic in the next three minutes." Bruce replies, still tapping away at his own work. The next thing you know you're being scared half to death as the doors to the lab swing open, slamming the walls beside with a force you're sure will leave a mark.

"I'm only going to say this once." Steve announces, the authority in his voice clearly not to be trifled with, a tone you're not used to hearing within the towers walls.

"How 'bout nonce?" Tony fires back, only now do you notice the two people trailing in behind Steve. Your eyes widening as you realize they match the faces of those you'd seen in file Maria had showed you.

"Shut it down!" Steve yells. You look over to Loki to see if he has any kind of plan in the slightest, though his eyes only meet yours with the same confusion.

"Nope, not gonna happen." Tony replies simply, ignoring Steve altogether and continuing with his work.

"You don't know what you're doing." Steve claims, trying to reason with the two scientists.

"And you do? She's not in your head?" Bruce bursts, finally turning around to face the Captain.

"I know you're angry." The girl voices, a thick accent coming with it.

"Oh, we're way past that." Bruce states, an edge in his voice you're grateful you've never had to experience before. "I could choke the life out of you and never change a shade."

"Banner, after everything that's happened-"

"That's nothing compared to what's coming!" Tony exclaims, effectively interrupting Steve from whatever he planned to say.

"You don't know what's in there!" The girl replies, a sort of desperation and urgency in her voice.

"Give me one good reason to believe what you're saying, after everything you've put my friends, my family through." You fire at her, your temper beginning to climb.

"This isn't a game." Steve tells everyone, trying to reason with anyone really, as the girl begins to add to Steve's point an almost blue streak flashes your eyes trailing behind it, when it stops every hose, wire and tube that had been connecting the Cradle to a power source is severed, the boy standing where it ended.

"No, no. Go on. You were saying?" The brother remarks, his attitude practically dripping off him. Then he's gone as the sound of a gun shot fills the air, the glass around the boys feet shattering .

"Pietro!"

"What? You didn't see that coming?" You hear Clint's voice ring out from below, you can almost hear the smirk in his voice.
