My Mom's heels came to view making me press tighter into the wall of the closet.

As if that was going to help.

But that didn't help me from covering my mouth and nose to make sure there was a minimum amount of noise that could be heard.

Mom took off her heels off and walked to one of her drawers.

She grabbed a key from her pocket and inserted in one of the drawers that was always locked.

She picked up a small file making me look at the diary.

Conflicted emotions rushed through me as I looked at the file.

Suddenly, the doorbell started to ring as if there was no tomorrow.

I could hear my Mom stop and go down the stairs.

Oddly enough she was in no rush.

What am I still doing here?

Without a second thought, I rushed to the drawer, grabbed the file and rushed to the window and jumped to the nearest tree.

My knee hit the tree making it sting but I brushed it off and ran.

As soon as I saw the car, I stopped and breathed for air.

Elsa soon was next to me with a concerned look in her face.

"Let's go,"I said while taking deep breaths in.

With one last glance at me, we both went inside the car and said nothing more as we drove back.

The trees seemed to blur as Elsa continued to speed up.

A sigh escaped my lips as I fully rested on the seat.

"Did you find what you needed?"Elsa asked making me look at the objects in my hand.
"I hope so... I feel guilty though"I said.

"Don't worry I'm sure we'll be able to intercept... It's kinda what we do" Elsa said while scoffing lightly at the last part.

I glanced at her before stopping myself from prying any further.

It isn't right for me to do so, even as a friend.

"I thank you, Elsa, "I said while looking at her.

She glanced at me before poking my cheek.

"Futile beast brings back Merida, "Elsa said making me smile but then look at her.

"I really do thank you, "I said while smiling at her.

"No problem," She said while getting ready to park.

The engine slowly died as she finally got her car to park and we got out.

Tooth was near the cafeteria, looking at the ground.

Once she looked up, her eyes lit up and she waved at us happily.

"I need to speak to Elsa"Tooth said making me nod and leave.

I took my time to go to the cabin, looking at the diary and at the file.

Night started to fall making me stop and look at the sky.

A star began to twinkle and then another and soon enough the sky was filled with stars making me smile and continue on my way to the cabin.

The lights were off, which honestly didn't surprise me.

I went in and sat down, setting down the file and diary carefully.

Something within me didn't want to open them.
