Just Friends? (ON HOLD)

Chapter 2

It takes all I've got to hold down the extreme fangirling going on inside me right now as I say, "Um, thanks?"

"That sounded more like a question than a statement." Louis stated.

"Um, ya well..."

"What she means is this is the ONLY game she has good aim on, any other time her aim sucks." Kayla cut me off with a chuckle.

"Sadly it's true," I shrug supporting her statement, "I couldn't aim to save my life."

"Haha, Oh!" Louis exclaims, "were are my manners? I'm Louis." he says proudly.

I giggle slightly, "I know who you are, I know who all of you are. And I have to say I love your music, I know all the words to every song actually." I say hoping I don't sound like a total creep.

Lou shoots me a smile. "Ah a fan I see." he says happily.

"You have no idea." Kayla and I chorus laughing. We are some of the biggest directioners there are.

"Well good to hear! Wait a minute, I introduced myself to you but you aren't going to tell us your names?" he says in a sarcastically hurt voice.

"Oh my gosh! I'm sorry!" I apologize, "I'm Dani and this is my friend Kayla."

"Well nice to meet you girls", Harry says flipping his chocolate brown curls. He flashes us a dimpled smile and his green eyes sparkle. I feel my face get hot and turn a shade of red similar to a tomato. I stand there blushing like an idiot for a few seconds before snapping out of my slight daze.

"Hey, you girls know what rides are any fun here?" an Irish voice chimes in. I turn to Niall and see him standing there with half a corn dog in his hand.

"Um ya, my personal favorite is the thunderbolt, it right over here actually." I say motioning the boys to follow. Luckily the park has only been open for about ten minutes now so there was no line. The boys pile on but Liam stops and reaches his hand out to us. "Join us?" he says hopefully.

"Sure! Of corse!" Kayla and I exclaim in unison as we run up the ramp and flash our wristbands at the ticket guy. The boys ran around the ride about three times arguing over seats like five year olds until finally settling on a sitting situation: Niall and Liam, Zayn and Kayla, me and Harry, and Louis by himself. Everyone is happy except for Lou.

"Mr. Ticket Man!" he whines, "Do I have to sit alone?"

"You can't sit alone?" the man questions him.

Louis just stares at him with a pouty face.

The man sighs. "Fine, go ahead and sit with your friends."

"YAY!" Louis jumps up and down like a toddler about to get candy and runs over to my car and hops in, pushing me closer to Harry. My stomach fills with butterflies and I feel my face turn beat red. I look up at Harry who seems to be blushing also.

Louis notices him blushing and a devious little smile creeps onto his face. "I see you blushing there mate. What? You already got yourself a pretty little girlfriend?" he says nudging me with his elbow.

"Oh shut it Lou," Harry says playfully slapping his friend, still blushing furiously, "she's not my girlfriend." he continued defensively.

"If you say so." Louis says lifting his hands in mock surrender.

Awkward silence falls between us three until the ride starts. We get to full speed and Louis starts rocking the hanging car like a maniac.

"Lou! What are you doing?" Harry yells at the twenty year old.

"Louis! Stop!" I half scream half laugh; I can't say I'm not enjoying it, "You're going to get us in trouble!"

The ride soon ends and we all get off, slightly dizzy, but all in one piece.

"Where to next, girls?" Zayn asks full of excitement.

"Well there's the scrambler." Kayla points out.

"The scrambler it is then!" Zayn exclaims winking at Kayla. Now it's her turn to be the tomato.

We use the same seating arrangement as last time except Louis sits with Liam because Niall decided to skip out on this ride to get more food. Typical.

After about four more rides we all decide to take a rest and go to the haunted house. Kayla is hesitant at first but Zayn offers her his hand. She takes it happily and follows us in.
