October -

Yumi's heart dropped and she waited for footsteps to fade. She knew Luhan would come back for her, he'll ask if she was okay, he'll kiss her bruises away, he'll drive her home like every night.

But as the time ticked by, Luhan never showed up again. Crawling from under the table, Yumi faced the reality that was Luhan. He wasn't the prince charming she wanted him to be. She was his toy when he was her lover.

"You foolish girl." A voice laughed. It was definitely not Luhan's. This was a higher pitch, it belonged to a girl.

"Who's there?" Yumi called.

"Did you think it was your beloved Luhan?" The door opened to reveal a girl with evil eyes.

"Who are you?"

"I guess you can't recognize my voice. I'm Min and yes, I know everything about you and Mr.Luhan." Min turned on the lights.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Yumi lied, she knew exactly what she was talking about.

"Oh you don't? Then why were you hiding under his desk? Why are you still at school this late, in his room?" Min bombarded Yumi with questions.

Yumi bit her lip, trying to control the tears that threaten to fall. "How long have you known?"

"About halfway through September. I watched you tip toe your way here and just because he shuts the blinds, doesn't mean you can't see anything. You two aren't as slick as you thought." Min crossed her arms.

"You'll keep this a secret right?"

"Why should I? The whole school deserves to know."

"Is me being queen slut of this whole school not enough? What do you want from me? A new reputation? You want to exploit me further? If it was just me in this situation, I wouldn't care but Luhan is apart of this too and I cannot let you ruin his career."

"Aw how cute. You love him but he doesn't have the slightest interest in you, romantically that is." Min mocked her.

"Cut the crap. What will keep you quiet?" Yumi sighed and grabbed her backpack from the floor.

"I want you to leave this school. Seeing you everyday disgusts me and ruins this school's rep. How could you let yourself be so prone to diseases?" Min's face turned sour.

"You want me to transfer when it's already my last year here? Really, how logical are you? Can't you hold onto your insecurities just for a couple more months?" Yumi snapped at her.

"I am not insecure! And yes, I want you to leave immediately, everyone does. Plus, no one wants you graduating here. Go and graduate at a more down graded school, something that suits your level." Min rolled her eyes. "If you transfer, I'll keep shut forever."

"Forever?"

"Forever."

"I'll be gone by next week." Yumi sighed heavily.

"Perfect. And oh, don't worry. I won't tell Luhan either, instead I'll take good care of him for you." Min walked out of the classroom, leaving Yumi alone and beaten.

October -

For the next couple days, Yumi avoided Luhan and Min. She focused on finding another school to accept her and bringing her grades up before the chance is gone. She didn't go to his classroom after school. She didn't look at him at all, but at the board. She thought detaching herself from him now was a good time, before she got too attached and those innocent brown eyes changed her mind.

Learning in his class was hard, but Yumi pulled through or so she thought. As Luhan passed back the graded tests, a big fat 43% haunted her. Her hand shot up, how could she have such a bad score when she knew everything on that test?

"Yes, Yumi." Luhan cleared his voice.

"I think you misgraded. I knew all the material and you're giving me a 43%?" Yumi was shocked.

"See me after class about that. Now, anymore questions?" Oh no, after school? Those never end well.

"A-After school?" Yumi said unsure.

Luhan's eyebrow went up, "Is there a problem with that?"

"No, I'm just - just - I don't kno- nevermind." Yumi mumbled. Right then, the bell rang and students hurried out the door. Yumi cautiously walked up to the man's table and placed her test in front of him. "Please re-grade it."

"Yumi, do you know why I gave you such a low score?" Luhan got up from his chair, the back hitting the board. Yumi shook her head in response. "It's because I needed to talk to you. You actually got a 100 out of 100."

Yumi's eyes stared at the ground, expression less, emotion less. "Thank you Mr.Luhan, I will be going now." Yumi bowed.

"Yumi, speak to me, c'mon."

"Mr.Luhan, I have nothing to say." Yumi turned to leave. Luhan reached the door before she did and blocked the way.

Luhan reached out to touch Yumi but she flinched back, "Are you sick? Was it because of what happened a few nights ago? Cause I left you? I'm sorry, Min was suspiscious and watched me pull out of the par-"

"Mist-"

"Don't call me that." Luhan grabbed her wrist and pulled her close to him. Their face barely an inch apart. He breathed against her lips. "I don't ever want to hear you call me that when it's our moment." Our moment?

"Luhan, I'm transferring." Yumi choked on her tears. She looked down, afraid to see the hurt in Luhan's face. But Luhan didn't let her, he picked up her chin and made her focus on him.

"Why?" He simply asked.

"Blackmail, I guess." Yumi chuckled and sniffed. She tried to lighten the mood.

Luhan's eyebrows were knitted in confusion. "By who?"

"You don't need to know that and I don't want you to get involved because you're the innocent one."

"How?"

"Well you only screwed around with me and you have no other attractions toward me so you'll only think of us as nothing more than teacher benefits. But for me, Luhan, I thought of us as something more. I was the foolish little girl who became clingy and thought we could've became something." Yumi cried harder.

"Yumi, don't cry." Luhan wiped the salty droplets away.

"Luhan, all my life I've been messed around with and I've never felt what it was like to fall deep in love with someone. I've never had a relationship where he does cute things for me and we'd just cuddle instead of screwing around. He would love me for who I am instead of what I am. He would make me feel special in many other ways than intercourse. He would compliment me nonchalantly and wouldn't think I'd catch on. And for some reason, I thought he could've been you."

Luhan's hand slowly fell from her small face, and he lost eye contact. "Why me?"

"I thought the same thing for a long time. After you took my virginity that summer night, I didn't think I would see you again but here you are. I thought it was some silly fate thing but all you wanted was to do it with me again, just like any other guy." Yumi laughed at her stupid assumptions of fate.

"I think you should go for now, Yumi."

"You wanted me to speak, so I spoke." Yumi brushed past the speechless Luhan and out the memory filled classroom.
