"Is this a new recipe?" Jinki smiled as Jina placed a plate of steaming food on the dining table. Sitting down in front of him, she tasted her hard work. It wasn't a special day, but the entire table was covered in colorful dishes.
"It sure is." Jina grinned as she sipped her soup. She was standing over the stove the whole day. Her feet were killing her and her hair was coated in oil. "Hurry, Oppa. The food is going to get cold and it doesn't taste very well microwaved." Jina wiggled her eyebrows and blew on the hot rice.
"Did you eat today? You seem a bit hungry." Jinki planted a chicken wing on Jina's pile of rice.
Jina swallowed what she had in her mouth and laughed nervously. "Yeah about that, I skipped lunch.."
"How about breakfast?"
"I couldn't pass over your delicious cooking. I just didn't eat lunch." Jina shrugged nonchalantly and continued eating.
"Don't do that from now on, okay? It's not good for the baby." Jinki fed Jina a spoonful of greens. She took the helping generously and nodded like a little child.
"I got it, don't worry." Jina grinned and patted her tummy. "I'm sorry, mommy was being careless again."
"I'll wash the dishes tonight. You should go shower up and sleep, you must be exhausted." Jinki finished quickly. Jina grabbed his hand and stopped him from leaving.
"I'll do it. You've been working all day and I've just been stuck at home. It's going to be like this for a while now, Jinki. I want to take care of the things around the house and make sure you're all rested." Jina stuffed her face with more food and Jinki laughed.
Patting her hand, Jinki got up again and stacked the cleared dishes. "You're silly, just eat up. After you shower, I'll massage your feet too."
Jina's eyes gleamed with excitement, ".. fine." She tried to sound upset, but the smile she was hiding was too obvious and Jinki knew she gave in.

Jina sat against their bed's new head board while Jinki tickled the bottom of her feet.
"Hey! You silly head, I'm ticklish." Jina giggled and retreated her two feet from Jinki's lap. Jinki's heart burned with a sweet sensation, traveling across his chest, then up to his cheeks.
"You haven't called me silly head since high school." Jinki climbed in next to Jina. Tapping her nose, she scrunched up her face.
"We haven't done a lot of things since high school. It's nice to bask in the moment of nostalgia, isn't it?" Jina chuckled and clicked off the light. Crawling under the sheets, Jina snuggled close against Jinki's chest.
He leaned down and buried his face into her hair. He was engulfed in the fresh scent of Jina's shampoo - cool and crisp cucumbers. His hand trailed down her hip, down her thigh, then stopped at the bent of her knee. He hoisted her leg ontop of his and she squealed. He finally rested his hand on her stomach.
"Jina.." Jinki started.
"Yeah?" She was muffled, but Jinki heard her clearly.
"Will you marry me?" He said breathlessly. His voice hung in the vacant air.
For Jinki, waiting for her answer felt like an eternity. His heart clung to his chest. The four words seemed so easy to slip out, but now words, excuses, and regret had clogged his throat. His stomach dropped and swam in a sea of anxiety that was unleashed upon him. The feeling was all too familiar - he had felt it before. He reminisced, trying to remember the moment that had given him the same feeling. Then it clicked, it was the same feeling he had felt when he asked Jina to be his girlfriend.
While for Jina, waiting for that question had been an eternity. She tried her best to swallow down the butterflies that flew up her throat. Her happiness filled her entire body and she soared across the sky. The feeling was familiar for her also. But she didn't have to remember which moment had given her the identical emotions, because she already knew from the top of her head. It was the same feeling she had felt when Jinki had asked her to be his.
"Yes." With that, Jinki and Jina perceived the littest bit of warmth slowly melting away at their cold relationship.
