Chapter 2

Naruto decided to spare his ears from being blasted open from the training in the backyard, apparently, Kushina and Minato taught Menma and Naru I how to climb a tree using chakra.

Of course being an Uzumaki and a Jinchuurikis, their chakra control were tied down. Its quite normal for them to have a terrible chakra control. And so, they rocket off from the tree after the first step. The two got up and tried it again and again, getting the same results all over again, Kushina and Minato could only sigh at the side.

"I'm leaving" Naruto step out to the backyard, still being polite seeing as he is still living under the roof Minato and Kushina provided, clothes, food, and necessities for him. And Naruto is still just a child.

Kushina and Minato glanced at the youngest child. This child is very quiet and does not cause trouble, quiet smart as well. If only Menma and Narumi had at least a third of Naruto's patience, it would be great.

"Okay go" Kushina sighed and waved Naruto off.

"....... MOM! WHY DO WE SUFFER!? WHY CAN'T NARUTO SUFFER HERE WITH US!? SO UNFAIR, YA KNOW!!!" Narumi whined, Naruto still had that half hearted smile, his eyes filled with glee, mockery, and ridicule.

"Why should I? I don't need special training" Naruto smiled

"You know Naruto, why don't you try it" Minato sighed, speaking up before Menma and Narumi throw a tantrum on why they only need to suffer.

"...... What's in it for me?" Naruto asked, already knowing that Minato will gave a reward, the twins will complain, Minato tries to handle the situation and the reward for the youngest or even a praise would be forgotten.

"I'll teach you the next level of chakra control exercise" Minato said as he placed another blue flag above the tree for Naruto.

"I see" Naruto gave a polite smile and nod but sneered inwardly.

Walking over to his tree, ignoring Kushina's instruction. Naruto continue to walk as if he was strolling in the garden and admiring the view and not walking straight to the tree. Three steps away, Naruto still looked calm. He then planted his feet on the tree bark and continue walking as if the tree was not there, his pace was not even changing. Naruto continue to walk until he reached on top of the tree, pluck the flag and walk back down, handing the flag on Minato's hands. The four were really surprised with Naruto's performance.

"Can I go now?" Naruto asked, leaking a bit of impatience in his voice

"N-"

"NO FAIR! DAD HOW DID NARUTO EVEN LEARNED IT BEFORE US!?!?" And the twins began their complains, Naruto scoffed and walked back inside, heading towards the front door and exited noisy place.

Naruto walked leasurely in the forest, following the flow of the river, he found himself in front of an odd cave. Naruto stared at the cave for a while, his senses blaring, screaming at him to stay away from the cave but his legs seemed to think otherwise as they moved on its own without Naruto willing them to.

As Naruto grew closer, the he felt the air getting colder. Naruto took note that the entrance of the cave is piled up with snow and some ice here and there, icicles hangings up in the ceilings.

Naruto continue to walk in and in the dead end, he saw something. The ice seemed to have light up on its own. A huge block of ice was in an arm's length in front of Naruto. Naruto can see something inside.

Naruto moved his hand to wipe some frost to clear his vision of the thing inside it, but before he could touch the ice, the area where his fingers were supposed to meet his slowly melted, Naruto paused and pulled his hand back as if he touched a heated pot, Naruto examined his hand and the ice in front of him.

"Interesting" he muttered and stood there for a while

"I wonder" he reached out his hand to the ice and the place where his hand were supposed to meet the frost melted, Naruto tried it on his other hand and got the same result.

"What an interesting discovery" Naruto muttered before he directed his hands to the place where he saw the thing inside the Ice.

Melting the area around it and the thing fell to the ground. Naruto knelt down to examine it, curious. It turned out to be a whip. A beautifully made whip but it can be mistaken as a fashionable waist belt like sash. The whip had two colors: white, and blue, the two colors coiled around with one another until it reached at the handle which was made of pure gold with a baby's fist size white diamond on the but of the hilt. There was a strange carving on the golden handle, Naruto picked it up before he felt something cut his thumb, his blood sneered on the golden handle. Before Naruto felt his body froze.

Cracks formed under him and Naruto fell in the darkness. He could feel himself hit the icy cold water bellow and his consciousness barely holding on.

But he did hear something. A woman's voice.

"I am very grateful for granting my freedom. Come and let me reward you"

That was the last thing he heard before he fell into unconciousness. But Naruto knew, the handle of the whip refused to leave his hand. And a searing pain in his mind that made him was to die, its like his brain is tearing apart.
