Chapter 35

Itachi raced from tree tops to tree tops in top speed.

Sasuke was ahead of him by a day. If Itachi keep his speed up, he would be able to catch up to him before Sasuke reach the border.

That was until his coils started aching.

"If you used too much chakra in one go, it will strain your Chakra Coils and making it even easier for the Virus to spread. It's best if you quit being a Shinobi until I fully able to cure you" Sotaru's voice rang into Itachi's mind when he recalled the warning.

"No! I can't stop here now!" Itachi gritted his teeth and continue his persuit even if it's agonising for him.

It was like his insides had lava flowing.

Itachi keep on doing this for an hour before his vision blackened.

Yuki hummed as she watched a couple of merchants passed by, she was waiting for a certain group that has her favorite lamb and cow meat. Ice blue nails tapped on the tree branch, indicating her impatience.

That was until someone crashed on her back.

"Fuck! You put a boulder on top of a tree!" Yuki yelled as she crawled out from underneath that thing that pushed her to the ground.

"Oh wait! It's a human!" Yuki exclaimed as she poked the person with her shoes.

"His chakra is very.... Damaged and in a dangerous rate and situation...." Yuki frowned and knelt down, she examined the person and blinked in surprise

"It's Weasel san" Yuki frowned before she took out a seal tag from her pocket and smack it on Itachi's chest, sealing arrays spread all over his body.

Yuki had frozen his time. Literally. Yuki can do it for a month until Naruto gets back from the Auction.

"Sorry, but I am waiting for those meat for almost two days now. You can wait here" Yuki said and dragged Itachi's body to the nearby bush using his leg.

Yuki huffed as sat down on the nearby boulder, tapping her fingers and waiting for the group of merchants.

"Hokage sama! I can't contact Uchiha Itachi. His radio and tracker is unavailable" an ANBU dropped in and reported

Minato frowned

There aren't available Jonins and Chuunin, not to mention the only ANBU left are those who patrol the borders. Konoha is still in tense as the village around is quite hostile with them.

"...... Get me Chuunin Nara Shikamaru and Chuunin Hyuuga Neji here now!" Minato ordered, the ANBU quickly speed away.

Gaara sighed in annoyance.

'Why am I doing this again?' Gaara asked

He glanced back at the cloud made of sand that has a motionless body on top of it. One he recognised.

"When my little brother is away, I am in charge, and I just feel like treating you as a slav-ah pui! I mean personal assistant" Yuki laughed cheerfully.

Gaara gave her a flat stare

"You were going to call me slave aren't you?" Gaara rebuked

"Ahahaha let's not mind small details" Yuki laughed as she patted on Gaara's shoulder and began skipping off

With Naruto and Thorm.

"Say.... Sotaru... Is it really okay for you to..." Thorm trailed off as he watched the silver haired Medic Ninja amused himself

"Oh hush, I am just admiring this fellow" Naruto said as he waved his hand in dismissal.

Thorm held Snowball in his arms.

"Er..... But can you.... The bunny is already crying, stop harassing it" Thorm said.

Yes, you heard right, the black bunny was being poked at by Naruto and have been examined as to why the fur was so black that it looks like a void.

'(TT _ TT) Wuuuu! Fellow bunny for the sake of being part of the same species, help me!!!!'

'Sorry, I can't so anything' Snowball shrugged.

Thorm looked conflicted. Should I snatch the bunny?

'Facinating. The bunny has extraordinary chakra, more potent and denser than Uzumaki chakra and darker and more sinister than the Tailed Beast. The color is completely black. The chakra reserves is still on gennin level but that is already incredible' Naruto pounder on before he raised his head.

There is a sound of battle from afar. The sound of blades clashing and explosion occurred.

"Thorm, what the situation?" Naruto stood up and still held the bunny as he seriously asked the green haired male next to him

"Let me check..." Thorm closed his eyes and spread out his chakra, asking the nature and trees around him.

Being a former plant spirit, Thorm has the ability to communicate with nature and animals.

Opening as if he was surprised with the answer.

"Konoha vs Sound. Seems like a boy with an Uchiha Fan, Uchiha Sasuke as to what they heard, had gone rouge and those teams are in persuit with him. He's nearing the Valley where it Ends" Thorm said, Naruto frowned

"The Valley of End. Something is definitely wrong with my seal" Naruto quickly head towards the direction, Thorm yelp at the gust of strong winds almost knocking him off his feet.

Regaining his balance, Thorm quickly followed.
