Volume 2 Chapter 5

Naruto turned around and was about to walk away when Sasuke held his wrist tightly and tugged Naruto towards Sasuke's arms.

"Ah!? What gives?" Naruto raised his left brow and steady himself.

"You're injured" Sasuke said coldly, Naruto's other brow had raised as well.

"Injured? I don't think I am injured" Naruto tilted his head to the side, he doesn't feel any pain at all.... Just a little numbness.

Sasuke hurriedly tugged Naruto closer and without hesitation carried Naruto in a Princess Style carry, earning an embarrassed and indignant yelp

"Sasuke! Damn you, put me down!!! Do you believe me if I say I will punch your face in!?" Naruto let out a yell

"Sasuke! I'm warning you!" Naruto glared

"So noisy" Sasuke replied before setting Naruto down gently.

He knelt down in front of Naruto and gently took his right foot and frowned, Naruto's ankle had been burnt. Seeing this, Sasuke took the boots off gently, an ugly patch of red and burnt skin is a strong contrast with the jade looking foot.

"No injuries? Then what's this?" Sasuke's expression was completely black

Naruto was not able to say anything, he really did not feel any pain. Really.

Sasuke had treated the wounds himself.

"I can do it, 'ttebayo" Naruto froze his hands that was about to take the bandage from Sasuke's hands, even Sasuke had paused and looked at him in surprise.

"You also have a verbal tick" Sasuke stated calmly, 'How cute'

Naruto scowled and sighed, he just let the other do as he pleases. His cloak had long been disgarded, melted from the acid earlier.

Sasuke stood up and unclasp his cloak before he put it around the surprised Naruto. Seeing the curious eyes, Sasuke did not answer the question Naruto asked him silently, he turned around and crouch down.

".... Well?" Sasuke looked back, seeing the stunned teen.

"........ You're kidding, right? I'm not a kid Sasuke" Naruto said with a frown, hesitating.

".... Would you just shut up and let me help you? Usuratonkatchi, either I'll carry you on my back or I'll carry you princess style. Either way, you'll ended up being carried" Sasuke said

"I don't want to be carried at all!" Naruto complained before he climbed on Sasuke's back and held on his shoulders, Sasuke supported Naruto's thighs and stood up.

"......let's go" Naruto said, Sasuke immediately left

Thorm who was back in the pocket dimension sat there waiting, '....... Otouto..... Why aren't you taking me out yet? Have you forgotten already?'

When Naruto and Sasuke arrived. The fight was already over.

"Sasuke, go and get as many poison sample from Sasori as you can" Naruto said as he knelt down beside Gaara, Granny Chiyo who was checking on Gaara, stopping her from sacrificing herself.

".........." 'I don't want to. Not willing at all' Sasuke thought with thunderous expression.

"......" Naruto was speechless, 'Think you're a child that I'll have to coax!? Aren't Uchiha complied without any fuss? What are you throwing a tantrum around for?!'

"....... I'll give you a reward if yiu give me satisfactory samples" Naruto bribe

Sasuke paused and contemplate for a while before he turn and left with a smirk on his face, "You better remember it then"

Naruto pushed the matter on the back of his head and instead telling Sakura to rest while he handle the rest himself.

Sakura had watched the interaction. Unlike Naruto, she is not dense in the subject of love and romance.

'...... Sasuke kun..... Swings the other way? No wonder.... No wonder he is repulsive of females who came close within 5 feet' Sakura thought and turned to observe Naruto.

Naruto's appearance, background, backers, abilities, fame, reputation, authority, and influence.... Was not means small. He can outright offend anyone but the Councils, Kages, and of course the Sannins does not want to be in bad terms to him at all. No matter how you look at it, even if Sasuke likes Naruto, no one could condemned them.

Naruto was a precious tressure and so dazzling and so damn perfect. The is nothing he cannot do, aside bearing children of course. Its not surprise that alot of males had been bent.

Sakura smiled, even if the other was Male, Sakura has no protest on accepting it. She was inferior in every way, what right does she have to hate? However she was abit envious, she was also relieved that at least Sasuke had not been with those bimbos in Konoha, what a great relief.

Naruto used Yuki's chakra to circulate it in Gaara's system, forcing to revive him.

"Welcome to the land of living, Gaara. Did you have a nice tour in the underworld?" Naruto asked

"... Sotaru?" Gaara blinked in surprise, Naruto bend over and held his hand for Gaara to take it

Before Gaara was able to touch Naruto's hands, another seized them and pulled Naruto from Gaara's line of sight.

"Let's go" Sasuke said rudely shooting a dirty look on Gaara.

"Sasuke, how very rude!" Naruto was about to scold him when Sasuke showed the list of poisons he collected from Sasori.

Naruto's attention was shifted instantly, he scanned at the list excitedly.

On cue, Sasuke whisked them both away.

Arriving on top of the tree branch. They stood side by side.

"Did it satisfy you?" Sasuke inquired, Naruto nodded

"Yes, yes, very much. Thank you" Naruto turned to Sasuke with a rare smile when he was then pushed towards the tree bark.

Naruto sucked in a breath and look up in shock. Sasuke's face was very close..... Naruto could smell mint from Sasuke's breath, fanning Naruto's cheeks.

".... Sasuke..... What are you.... Doing?" Naruto look up and stared into Sasuke's onyx eyes.... That seemed so deep and emotions flashing in them..... Like it wants to devour him.

Sasuke placed his hands on the tree bark beside Naruto's head, cornering the smaller teen, he bend his head down and stared into those blue eyes.

"..... Collecting my reward" Sasuke answered

"What?" Naruto asked

"!!!?!"

Sasuke had leaned in and closed his eyes, locking their lips together.

Naruto's eyes widen in shock.

'....... WHAT IN THE WORLD!?!?!?'
