I still haven't killed him, hell were still standing in the basement staring at each other looking like shit.

There was a gun perched on the wall behind me that I was seconds away from grabbing to end his life. Though I do love to watch my victims die a slow painful death, I wanted his ass gone. Slipping back into the darkness provided by the staircase so he wouldn't see me I turned, my hands gripping the gun pulling it from the wall.

"I'm not here to kill you, Selene, just needed a simple way in."

Scoffing and slipping the gun back on the wall I stepped out of the shadows looking at him as if he was the crazy one. "Simple way in? You call this a fucking simple way in?" I gestured to both of us and the room we were standing in, "fucking unbelievable" I said mumbling to myself.

"Look the reason I didn't put up much of a fight is because that's not why I got myself into this situation. I just wanted to "help" you..."

Scrubbing my hands down my face I blocked out whatever the hell he was saying. Hearing a thud I look up to see him passed out on the floor.

Walking to where he's sprawled out across the floor, I think, this would be the perfect time to end it and be done with him forever but, for some reason I just couldn't do it. Sighing I snapped my fingers in front of his face and when that didn't work I tried clapping. Five minutes later he's still passed out so I tried the next best thing and that was to slap him, hard. Do you think he woke up, nope, he didn't even flinch.

Standing up I left him there on the floor and walked straight up to my room making sure I locked the basement door behind me. Opening my dresser I picked out green pajama shorts with a plaid pattern and a black tank top. Stepping into my bathroom and putting my clothes on the sink counter along with a towel I started the shower. Stepping in I let the warm water cascade down my body, I had no idea what I was gonna do with that mistake downstairs. Part of me still wanted to kill him and then the other part of me wanted to know what he meant by "help" me. Shutting the water off I grabbed my towel to dry myself then slipped on my clothes.

Deciding to leave him down there until morning I shut off my lights and climbed into bed, instantly falling asleep.

----------------------------------------------

I am not a morning person whatsoever but there are occasions where I tend to wake up early. This was one of those times but I blame HIM for why I am up this early.

It is currently 7:30 and all I can hear is his incessant banging on that damn door. I even tried the whole putting the pillow over the head thing but that was just uncomfortable and didn't lessen the noise, not one bit.

Groaning I finally pulled, well, technically crawled my way out of bed. My bare feet slapping against the cold wood floor as I trudged down the steps to the basement door. Unlocking the door and throwing it open against him, yawning as he stumbled down the steps.

"Do you know what time it is?"

"No, and I don't fucking care you left me down here, unconscious, all night. Who the hell does that to a person?"

"Obviously me, since I did it to you and because I kill people. It's like you expect me to act kind and be all nice and shit."

"All I know is my shirt is ruined, I'm covered in blood and, I would really like to take a fucking shower."

"Fine but I'm only saying that because I want to sleep for a few more minutes and then we need to talk." Waving my hand at him to let him know to follow me I lead him to the guest bath. Handing him a towel I sighed "Well obviously I don't have clothes for you to wear so your just gonna have to put your old clothes back on." Walking out and shutting the door behind me I went straight back to my bed for that extra sleep.

Waking up for the second time today felt so refreshing until I realized what time it was. It was almost an hour later , jumping up out of bed and racing to the guest bath to find it empty. Hoping that maybe he left, I crept down the stairs hearing movement in the kitchen I peeked from behind the wall to see him making food, shirtless. And damn did he have a nice back, shaking my head I cleared my throat.

"Glad to see you made yourself at home."
