Well then.
That wasn't what Taehyung had been expecting.

"Out," he finally managed after a few seconds.
"Pardon?" Jungkook asked, his head tilting forwards.
"Out of my apartment," Taehyung gritted. "Now."

He made a move as if to push the younger but the boy stepped back, not allowing it. His hands came up again, as a sort of surrender.

"Just this once, Taehyung," Jungkook smirked. "Next time, I expect a personal tour of your bedroom."
The implications were strong and clear but Taehyung only frowned, though it was through flushed cheeks.

As soon as Jungkook stepped back out the threshold, Taehyung slammed the door. He could hear faint chuckles from the other side and he grumbled incoherently under his breath.

Honestly, that boy pissed him off to no end.

Frowning, Taehyung glanced at the art-book on the couch. Flipping the pages to the most recent drawing, his eyes fell upon the likeliness of the sketch that was so obviously the raven-head that he had just banished from his apartment.

His fingers itched to rip out the page, to shred it to bits, to make sure the younger didn't have any leverage against him. But he couldn't. His drawings meant too much to him. Besides, he was pretty proud of that particular sketch.

However, Taehyung couldn't help but notice a page missing from his book. It was his self-portrait. One of the first drawings he had ever done. His own reflection. But it was missing.

Running a hand down his face, Taehyung sighed, letting his fingers graze over the jagged remnants of ripped paper. What reason did Jungkook have to take one of his drawings for himself? His head hurt just from thinking about it.

Closing the book and tucking it under his arm, Taehyung grabbed his laptop from the coffee table and made his way to his bedroom. There, he plugged his traitorous phone into charge and watched broodingly with a scoff as the screen lit up.

Of course it was regaining its energy now.
It just lost its life when he needed it the most.
So unreliable. Technology these days. Horrendous.

As soon as he opened his laptop, he groaned at the number of assignments that were due to be handed in. He really had been neglecting school these days. If only he still lived with his parents, they would have berated him every day to complete his homework.

A sad smile graced his lips at that thought. If only. If only they didn't find out that way. If only they could have accepted him instead of treating him like an outsider.
