When Taehyung awoke with a groan, he was surprised to find himself in between silk sheets.
"What-?" He murmured to himself as he sat upright, the duvet crumpling around his waist.Shielding his eyes from the sun streaming through the blinds, he let his eyes wander around the room. It took him under a minute to be alerted to his senses, recognising the place he had been in only twice before.
With the memories of last night flashing through his mind, he glanced down at himself, flushing at his naked body. Tracing the edge of a hickey with his finger, Taehyung couldn't help the giddy smile that broke out across his face.
Jungkook and him were - well, whatever they were. They cared for each other, were willing to give this a chance. Plus Taehyung had the assurance that he won't be discarded. Whatever they had, it actually mattered.
Taehyung let out a content sigh at the thought, giggling to himself as he rolled into the blankets again. Hugging the nearest pillow, he couldn't help but inhale the heady, musky scent that undoubtedly belonged to Jungkook.
"That's not creepy at all," the voice startled Taehyung out of his daze, causing him to push himself up onto his elbows, the brunette's eyes immediately falling onto an amazingly delectable sight.
Jungkook's wet body glistened in the sunlight, a towel wrapped around the ravenette's hips and another slung over his shoulder. There was the faintest trace of a smirk on his face as he winked at the older, almost as if he knew what was going through the other's mind. Taehyung bit his lip, looking away.
God, tempting me so early in the morning? I really shouldn't have agreed to anything last night.
"Regretting it?" Jungkook chuckled, perching on the edge of the bed, reaching out to cup Taehyung's cheek.
Taehyung shook his head slowly, "Of course not. The only way I'll ever regret it is if I start hating you and I don't think that'll happen any time soon."At his words, Jungkook grinned widely, leaving the brunette shell-shocked. His smile revealed his bunny teeth, his eyes crinkling at the edges, his face glowing with sincerity.
Since when did Jeon Jungkook ever smile? I thought smirking was the only thing he knew.
Taehyung couldn't help but get lost in his thoughts, too dazed at that beautiful, beautiful smile to care that he was staring. How someone can be so damn flawless, he did not know. And of course, Jungkook had regained his personality and had finally made a great impression (after twenty-three failed attempts) so Taehyung's previous complaints would no longer be a problem.
