It was as if Jungkook's breath was knocked out of him in one blow, the sentence repeating itself in his mind. Kim Taehyung was going to be forced out of his apartment.

"Don't you dare," he clenched his fists, glaring harshly at the man in front of him. "Don't you fcuking dare."
Kangdae smirked cruelly, "Then it's simple. Move out of the penthouse. Find another place."

"Why the fcuk is it so important to you that I move out? I bought that place with my own money!" Jungkook growled, his chair tipping over as he stood.
"It wasn't your money, you brat! You don't have anything to call your own yet," Kangdae gritted his teeth.

Jungkook couldn't help the scoff that escaped his mouth, swallowing down the urge to laugh, "Right. Are you trying to say that the money is yours? Last time I checked, the only money you have is the money you leech off my mother."

"Kangdae, he's not going to move out of his apartment. That's rightfully his," Sori nodded in agreement. "You have no valid reason for asking that of him."

The older man simply shot her a withering look, one which had her quietening down instantly, "The things he has been doing there - all for that Kim. I told you already that we should knock that nonsense out of him years ago. But you refused and here he is, making out with boys in elevators."

It took all Jungkook had to not laugh aloud at his father's words. Sure, they were supposed to hurt and it kinda did put him on edge, knowing that Kangdae somehow caught hold of security footage of the elevator but his mind refused to let go of that final sentence.

Oh, trust me. I did more than just make out in that elevator.

Sori frowned, shaking her head, "Is that what this is about? His sexuality? Kangdae, we talked about this. . ."
Kangdae growled in frustration, "No, Sori. I wish that was all there was to it. You know the reason why Jungkook even moved out? Why he bought that apartment when he could have afforded something better?"

Jungkook's heart lurched. Shiit.

Glancing at him in confusion, Sori turned back to her husband, shaking her head slowly, "He deserved some independence from us. We haven't exactly been- well, you haven't exactly been the best parent."

Though Kangdae's jaw clenched, he didn't comment on it, doggedly continuing on - a trait that even Jungkook had grudgingly admitted to have acquired.

"It's not that simple. Tell me, do you even know who Kim Taehyung is? Why your son's been involved with him?"
Sori sighed, rubbing her temple, "The name sounds familiar. But I just assumed that it had something to do with Jungkook's classmates."
