Okay so hey.
I'm not sure how many of you read this still.
Hello.. It's been a while..
Anyway, it has come to my attention that this thing called 'Article 13' Is happening.
It is apparently only in the EU.. But I have no idea what it's about..
Since I live in Britain, that is in the EU. AND EU stands for European Union.
To be more specific, it is the European Parliament will be doing this law.
However there is something going on right now with Brexit.
I don't want this all to get political because I don't know much about it but I've heard they will be banning YouTube and wattpad and things.
That isn't going to be good since I'm on wattpad.. So..
Anyway, I don't know much about it but being in Britain I am worried about it. It means that I wouldn't be allowed to type or publish my fanfictions on here..which is quite sad.
But, I have heard there are things you can do against it. I don't know what they are but people have been tagging me in them.
All I can really say is I hope it doesn't pass. It can't pass. We would loose too many brilliant fanfiction writers and we would loose too many amazing artists who do the fan art.
Please don't let any of this happen. We can read more about it but I can say that none of this has been on the news or in any of the newspapers here and for that reason my friends are saying it won't happen.
We can't let this happen.
I think it is for copyright reasons and things but I'm not too sure. What would happen to the youtubers here like DAGames? Jacksepticeye? These guys do game plays and so are they going to ban them because it's 'Copyright?' by the way, both of which are good Youtubers
And again I am not really understanding any of this but it is worrying me.
So to spread the word, I will tag some people and hope they pass on the word.
