The Criminal Prince walked in. He was soaked from head to toe. But that didn't matter to him.

He got the item of jewelry he wanted. His lips turned into a warm smile as he looked at it.

A few light footsteps walked towards him. His hands quickly put it in the box and he turned, looking down at his partner and lover, Jimmy Casket.

"Hey Jimmy!"

"Gavin! You're soaking!"

"I know. Sorry for leaving muddy footprints."

Jimmy put his hands on Gavins shoulders and pushed him towards the shower. "Go and have a shower."

"Only if you shower with me." he smirked.

Jimmy's only response to that was to push him into the bathroom and shut the door.

Gavin sighed. Sometimes there was no reasoning with Jimmy.

Gavin woke up a few mornings later with a cough. His throat felt so sharp and.. He couldn't smell?

With a painful headache, he sat up in bed and put his pajamas back on. Jimmy was no where to be seen. He might be doing something as kind as making breakfast, or something as mean as murdering.

Gavin could never ignore the time he woke up to find two hostages tied to their freshly stolen dining room chairs. He had, of course, made Jimmy let them go.

He slowly made his way downstairs, treading carefully. His ears could faintly hear Jimmy, singing in the kitchen.

Jimmy smiled cruelly as he cut the bacon and eggs, skillfully with his knife. Not the one he used for murdering and people. He had that one propped up near him.

"You were right, Knifey! He did get ill! You should have heard him last night. Coughing in his sleep." Jimmy sighed.

Gavin felt himself glaring at Jimmy.

"Hey, fucker. I'm not ill!" Gavin cried out. "I am-!" he began to cough loudly, leaning onto the wall for support.

Jimmy rolled his red eyes. "You're stupid ass has a cold!"

"You like my stupid ass."

Jimmy sighed loudly. "Gavin! Go and sit down."

Slowly, Gavin backed away into the room. He sat down on the sofa and sighed. This sigh turned into a cough. Maybe he should have worn a scarf?

No it's only September! It's too early!

His face ached so badly. Gavin didn't want to take any medication. He remembered when he was younger, he would get colds and his mother would push him away when he went to hug her.

His eyes teared up.

"Breakfast!" Jimmy smiled happily.

He gave his lover a plate of food, accompanied by a glass of orange juice.

"Wh-Where is my tea?" He asked as Jimmy sat down.

"This is healthier and it will get you back to you in no time." Jimmy ruffled his hair.

Gavin blushed and stood up quickly. He turned away, blowing his nose.

Blood.

"Fourth nosebleed!" he glared, before blowing his nose again.

"Blood?"

He looked over and sneezed. "I'm sorry you have to listen to me blowing my nose. I know it isn't nice."

"No no, you're ill Gavin. And I'm going to look after you."

Gavin smiled and finished eating.

"I'll get you some medication to help."

Jimmy walked back in with some tablets.

"Jimmy you know I can't take tablets. I cough them out."

"Yeah yeah, you're like a cat. I have to pin you down and make you take them."

"Meow." Gavin rolled his eyes. He sat up. "Do you have the liquid form?"

Jimmy nodded and gave him some.

After taken, Gavin laid down and began to watch TV. Jimmy moved the plated into the kitchen and sat beside him, moving a blanket round him.

"You're hot." he said, placing a hand on his forehead.

"Of course I am. I'm Gavin Toast. And I'm British."

Jimmy rolled his eyes. "I meant temperature wise."

Gavin coughed in response.

"Gavin?"

"Mmhh?" Gavin answered, his green eyes still staring at the screen on their stolen flat screen TV.

"Why did you go out?"

"In my jacket, there is a box. I know our anniversary is coming up soon and I wanted to give you a gift." Gavin sneezed and blew his nose. He then weakly threw the tissue in the bin, smiling as it went in. "Look in my blue hoodie pocket."

Jimmy got up and lifted out a small box. He opened it to show a small golden ring with red crystals on it.

"Those are ruby crystals. That's your crystal. There was an emerald one there for me but I didn't have time. You matter more and I love you." Gavin yawned.

Jimmy smiled softly, kissing his head. "I love you too. You're so so kind."

Gavin smiled. His green eyes slowly began to close and before they were aware of it, he had fallen asleep.

Jimmy smiled. He kissed Gavin scarred cheek and cuddled down with him, blushing as Gavin wrapped an arm tightly around his shoulders.

Jimmy knew where he was going to go next.

To get that emerald ring.

Hey.

I hope you're all well.

You're all doing amazingly.

I hope you enjoyed the one shot.

The next one shot may be a bit graphic?

And I will see you next time.
